The Official Glitch/Bugs Thread

On one date with Denise she wanted to go for a drive and I thought she wanted to go dancing. So I drove her to the club and entered the door, but she didn't come in with me.

So, I left the club and pressed L1 as soon as I came out of the door to kiss her. The game went into the regular widescreen cutscene and we just sat there looking at each other and didn't kiss. Everything else in the city kept moving but we were stuck there not kissing each other.

Alright, everyone has their official thing, so here's mine.. And i figured it would be a benefit in some ways to people knowing about these bugs.. Anywho, to start the list off:

• Dissapearing garage cars - Happens sometimes for no apparent reason. Happened to me once a few saves after i put a buffalo in my garage.. the buffalo dissapeared. Sometimes this will leave any cars with a special paint job, paint-job less and white.

Well That explains it!!! My yellow Sabre (pic in the SA Images Thread) has just vanished! Not a rare, or special car, but it was my Favorite! If my custom Tampa disapears i'll really be pissed.

When I opened my garage at Cj's House to get in my lowrider, two of my "homies" grabbed my PJC600 & NRG500 and took off on them, I tried chasing them down, but my low rider doesn;t handle as well......I was so FREAKIN pissed...whats with my GANG stealing my **** >????

* BUG *

The other day, In SF i was at my garage(The shop), I had just come out of the Pay'N'Spray to lose my 3 star rating. Then I hear explosions. Continous, about 1 second apart. I start looking around and the parking lot of the Car dealer (which I couldn't buy yet) was under some sort of Bombbardment! I was like "What the H3LL is going on?!??!" I get my sniper rifle (not wanting to go over there ) and zoom in to see whats going on. Then i see something sticking out of the ground..... It's the rotors to a Police Helicopter!! It spawned underneath the building and was constantly blowing up but no getting destroyed! It's happend at least 3 times now i think. Wierd, but kinda cool too. It's like being bombed from an Aircraft or something.

I think the first two aren't necessarily bugs either. Not being able to go into buildings during gang fights could mean the people inside have locked the doors to keep the crazies out. Or R* just wants you to stay involved in the storyline. And the bit about the garage - you should nose around a bit. There could be a secret prize there.

I was blurring the screen with my NRG 500 last night while playing ( flying down the highway ) and some dude FLEW by me in a fork lift !!!! Cops hot on his tail...how the hell did the forklift go so freaking fast ??????!!!>>> I was maxed out on the racing bike ! Weird !

That's weird. Not even the Tractors get that fast. And they usually don't get chased by Police. I haven't had any major glitches like this really.

Ive noticed this with other vehicles also, even when not being chased by the police, ive been blatting along in the Super GT and ive been at full tilt, blurring screen and just keeping up with "Greenwoods" and other slower vehicles like the scary "Glendales" he he.
Although i remember reading somewhere that R* said that vehicles on the Highways would match your speed, but you would think they would have made it more realistic, oh well.

I've seen cars driving through the roadblock on the Garver Bridge as if it wasn't there.

I know. The one you can't pass is the one I've seen cars drive through as if it wasn't there. But I saw a motorbike hit it full on at high speed and crash!

Was it a FCR-900? That would be good. Watching a biker crash into a brightly colored road block and smashing into it then stealing the best bike in the game.

my customized stallion diseappered when I put the gt40 looking car in my garage and for some reason my black sentinel start to sink into the golden gate bridge when I avoided a train

Does anyone know what that car is called?, i want one!

A burger shop in SF has one, its across the road from a pay shop on the north-east side of SF. Or get silver on all driving tests.

I've killed a few people and they've ended up laying upside down, or looking like they're in the middle of a cartwheel or something. Crazy!

No, the cutscene wouldn't end until we started kissing. Since we didn't start kissing, I had to restart my PS2.

Have you ever tried kissing in the game? It's not so much a cutscene as it is a real-time action in widescreen. When it wouldn't get out of the scene, believe me I was jamming buttons like mad, to no avail, I had to restart my console.

Again it only happened once. I think it happened because I was partially clipped inside the door of the bar and she couldn't reach me properly to initiate the lip lock.

I had just saved, so it really wasn't that big of a deal.

Yeah I smooched that trailer trash Denise the other day shortly after giving her flowers... altho I was instructed to kiss her after "dancing her socks off" but it didn't work... so I took her back to her place and drank me a mug of steaming coffee... hopefully ground!!

I've had an issue with losing engine sounds...sometimes it's all cars(mine and traffic), other times it's just mine. Switching cars doesn't help, but being wasted or busted seems to reset the sounds...

That's odd. Seems like your PS2 might be having a bit of trouble in this case. Get it checked out, maybe a bit of cleaning. Or, just go the easy way out like I did, and buy the PStwo!

Either way, I think that's your PS2, not the game. Odd indeed.

Yeah, I like how you can hang up on people. She never called me, although I hardly done anything with her. She wanted to do some Drive-Bys once, then we went for dinner. She wasn't happy with where I took her, so I never came back.

Also, I don't know what was up with your Gang stealing your stuff. Never happened to me, although general people around Grove Street steal your things...

I don't know if you would consider this a bug.

I was at the max altitude of of the Learjet type plane and bailed out thinking I had a parachute. Well I didn't and I fell straight into the ocean and somehow did not die. The fall only took off like 10% of my health to.

It's the ocean, I don't think it's a bug. Even though you would die in real life, I don't think it would kill you on GTA. Hitting land is another story. I pressed Triangle on a certain mission when I was in the Parachute. I hit land. I cringed. Very horrible death.

You can hit water from a really high fall without losing health. It's not a bug or glitch though, just the way they've handled falling into water.

I posted this in the Record Book, but I thought it would be better off in here.

I have just gotten a glitch where the following occurs on the Stats Page:
Biggest Gang:
Ballas
0

2nd Biggest Gang:
Ballas
0

3rd Biggest Gang:
Ballas
0
-----

Now the even weirder thing is, the Ballas actually have territory on my game. From memory, about 6 or 7 territories. So this is weird. Has anyone else got this glitch?
