So what will you guys be taking back to the stores? For me, the only thing I didnt want that I got was an subscription to super street (the ricer mag) from my brother. Oh well. They'll be interesting to read.

The "ricer mag"

It's true for the most part. They do have 3-4 good cars every year or so...

Well, I figure its got to have at least something informative.

Im gonna take back nothing...... I got what I like. And I read SUPER STREET and I don't like rice, I like their articles.

Well then, Ill be reading it, and learning more stuff about imports. Nothing wrong with that. I will now be taking back LOTR Risk game. Ugh. But, my grandma got me a subscription to car and driver....that is teh win!

Nothing, and i dont think super street is not all bad but if u dont want it u can send it my way:D

Only one thing... I got a TMBG's "Flood" album from two people, so I'll exchange one of them for another CD.

A pair of Nike ice Skates.

I allready have 3 pairs and my parents know that.

As well as my 5th DVD player. :irked:

Hydraulic? Are they for electric drums?

Try REMO "pinstripe" heads, and for your snare, remo "ambassador batter" head. they last a long time.

What kind of set do you have?

What's wrong with Car & Driver? That is one of my favorite magazines. Oh and I don't take stuff back.

youve got to be ****ING kidding me...i want that game soooo bad...that and half-life two....*drooooooooooooool*...as to the question...prolly nothing cuz my parents take the reciept and tags (if any) or security devices out so i cant take it back  the only thing i would want to take back this year is a REALLY gay shirt that i'll wear like...twice...

I got duplicates of a couple of DVDs, so they'll be going back. I also got two copies of the same book, but no receipts, so I'll have to forward that gift to someone during the year.

I got some shirts I'll probably have to take back because I know I won't wear them. I agree with mopar... it should be the thought that counts though.

Hey GilesGuthrie, that's cool I just noticed your from Edinburgh, I've visited England and surrounding places as a High school grad present. I thought Edinburgh was the best out of all the places I went to.

Nope, they are regular double-ply Evans heads with oil in the middle. I just had pinstripes, but I didn't like the sound that they gave me. I'm going to stick with these for a while. I have a Premier Artist Maple set with a Pork Pie Black Beauty snare (made from black brass), Zildjian Custom A Projection crash and a Paiste ride. Oh, and a Rhythm Tech DST1 mounted tambourine. I have an Evans EQ 3 on my bass, and I am currently using Pro Mark 7A hickory sticks.

I like to use Regal Tip 5A's. Pro mark?....I'll have to give them a try. Buy a remo "fallam slam" patch, it makes it easier on your bass drum, especially if you have double peds.

Heres what I got:

Cymbals-
sabian aax 14'' metal crash (sounds great)
paiste 20'' sound reflections ride
sabian 8'' splash
sabian 10'' splash
zildijan 18'' crash/ride
14'' hi-hats

8 peice TAMA rockstar, 2 tymbales (6'' & 8'') 1 cowbell.
Iron cobra double pedals & iron cobra hi-hat stand

My Network Everywhere router (made by linksys but "walmart crowd" name)
I want to take Microsoft mouse back for being a piece of crap but it's a year old
My MSI mobo is defective but I found out a year too late

over the years, I've started blacklisting whatever has given me more problems than I could put up with. This list is small but I'd strongly suggest against getting products from any of these companies:
Linksys & their subsidiaries - bought 1 router, it was defective. they told me to exchange it. The 2nd router was also defective but I found the problem a month after getting it. They told me to BUY another one - they didn't replace it. Combine that with an ultra-crappy interface, it isn't worth it.

Microsoft - activation bull**** on winxp is the reason I use bootleg cd keys and cracks. Did I mention extreme bloatware?

IBM - EXTREMELY overpriced, ugly as hell laptops. Good tech support but not the smartest people around. Took them a month of talking to 15 different reps, repeating the SAME troubleshooting crap 15 times and then waiting 2 weeks for my motherboard to be replaced.

MSI - I've experienced 3 ****ed up motherboards and counting

Dell, compaq, HP - I've had hp and compaq stuff and had nothing but problems. HP has the worst customer support I've seen - they don't even provide drivers for some of their scanners. To get the drivers, they were asking me for $50 to snail mail a driver disk to me. In the end, I bought a new, better scanner for $75. Dell *would* have good customer service...if their technicians were competent (I've fixed machines for people)

Sony audio equipment - I have gone through 4 headphones and they all SUCKED. Their radios are sometimes extremely overpriced & can't handle a full range of sound. They over-magnify high and low frequencies and mid-range is very muddy.

That's about all I can come up with for now

I have (or had) some kind of Evans patch on it that came with the head, but it's all but ripped off now. I really should get another one; I guess I didn't position it right. I don't have a double bass pedal at the moment; I plan on getting one sometime but I don't really have the need for one right now. I also plan on getting a splash sometime soon, probably a 10" of some kind.
