sorry for the poor quality... the camera is pretty good [Sony Cyber-shot 5.0 megapixels ], but for some reason it doesn't take good pictures from the Tv....

I know, the car is far from being great, I'm just starting though... right now... 152 Wins/ 46 Loss. The car is pretty fast... almost all available upgrades + mostly carbon parts.

any suggestions?
 
Yes, there are no Honda's. The only reason worth having Honda in the game is the NSX. Then, it's not really a big reason.
 
Hey Integra same here, just beat Nagyoa and Osaka now starting on the ol' Tokyo, My chaser is doing great. Except when I was racing the boss of Genisis R and Seeks I overheated right after the race and was crawling to a pit stop, all and all my chaser looks nice!

BTW, I beat the pantera wanderer.... Not that many options for tuning.......disapointment.

EDIT: Also I beat an R33 with my chaser, hahahaha!!!

I'm guessing that you are in the first half of the game? I am in the second part. All I have left are 2 teams, the Bosses and the Wanderers in Tokyo, and Wanderers in Nogoya/Osaka.
 
I've been playing ever since yesterday, when i got it, and man, it's so great! I started out with an FC RX7, and let me tell you, i haven't heard a rotary engine sound that true to life in any other game before. I've got about 500k right now, savin' my money for something much faster, although i'm not sure what yet...
 
Has anyone had a problem with the game locking up when looking at the stats of the rivals? I have had it happen twice. I hope it is the game and not my PS2.

It happens to me alot.... I don't know why it does. But everytime I save it then go in the Rival's it freezes. So It don't bug me any but.


GUYS, DO NOT GO TO THE EDITOR WITH THE ANALOG!
Well, I did and it took me almost all day yesterday. Even the paint job came out great, it was a pain.

I am 96% complete with TXR3, and im still racing to get the Engine swap.

RX7 FD or the R34 would probably be a wise choice. :)
 
Same here, but the FD with the L6 engine swap has better acceleration and cornering ability then the bulky R34.


I would advise to save your game before you buy any car. Once saved you can modify to your liking and then test it out to see if you truly want that car. If so, then save. If not, then just reload and try a different car. :)

any car can get you real far in txr3 lol, i beat half the game with my ae86 and other half with my supra in just under 1400 driven miles..
 
Hehe sold the chaser, bought a Supra RZ. Very fast, But now i'm broke. :D

Also, I've beaten Osaka totally rivals bosses and Wanderers, Got wanderers to finish off in Nagyoa and got all of Tokyo to finish.

Your AE86 will get screwd by Jintei and the 3 dragon's.

Their the same for every car.

The hp/tq rating will depend on what vehicle is getting the swap.

And for the 3rd time, read the thread. ;)

Has anyone tried the engine swap in the RX-8? It sounds as though the RX-7 has great possibilities with an I-6 Turbo swap. I was just wondering if the 8 has the same abilities, if not more. I like how it looks better.
