You have to set up the boost to either 1 2 or 3 in the car settings menu, otherwise it won't work. ;)
 
I got this game fo $15 last week and it's awsum, i love it. It will keep me until GT4 comes out.
I'm like 40% done and I have a R34 GT-R w/ lots of mods, including engine level 7......i will post sum pics later

wat i don't like about the game is that the only otha traffic besides otha racers are those yellow vans.

it was weird how easy those camouflage Evo's were to beat, the game made it seem like they were gona be wicked hard.....i beat them in a 450hp 300 Z that was like 1450kg

also i really like the story line, it's pretty cool......

Yeah, they were really easy. I used a 450hp FD3S, and they just disapeared into the distance. They physics in the game are a little floaty, and I wish it would allow for realistic drift control, but I do like the engine swap option, and paint editor. ;)
 
Meh, I don't feel like posting any pics tonight. I'll do it tomorrow afternoon though. :)

Here's a question for everyone: What do you listen to when you are playing TXR3? The ingame music? Your Own muisc?
Right now, im listeing to Blink 182's new album. 👍 Good stuff.
 
i'll see if i have the energy to post up some pics of my WRX later. thats if im not too lazy to rip my ps2 out of my entertainment center so i can hook it up to my tv tuner card. Does anyone have like a tutorial on how to used that paint editor and do cool things w/ it? im....less than skilled when it comes to trying to used that thing

I heard that you can use a USB mouse in the paint editor if that helps any. I havn't tried it yet though.
 
ingame music is zzzz, i just turn the s.e. sound all the way up and b.g. music all the way down and let my mp3's run in the back as i play, much more fun ;]
 
Yeah. I think the only game(s) where I keep the background music on is the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series. The ingame music always rocks in THPS. :D


By The Way: I just unlocked engine level 8.
 
i turned the ingame music down, cuz i like the sound of the car and the road when i'm racing.
I don't listen to any otha music when i play PS2 games because my ps2 is hooked up to my surround sound reciever, and i'd rather listen to games in dolby pro logic (i wish the games were in dolby digital) then listen to them out of the speakers in my TV 👎
in game music is good enough fo me, but i'd like to have the ps2 HDD so i could listen to my own music durring game play, and not sacrifice sound quality...........

you can use a usb mouse?? hmm, ive got one right here, must try this out and see if its correct




oh snap you can! well that makes things a little easier, its hard as hell, trying to do anything w/ those damn analog sticks
 
heh. ive gotta get some pics up of this wrx. youre really gonna be surprised. sometimes i even amaze myself :D i can never sell this car now. i'll try to get some pics up in a little while, im still workin on it. THANK YOU for letting me know a usb mouse works. i wouldve never thought to try that
 
Anyone know where I can find some videos of this game? I dont have any money to buy it so I'm stuck with the nfsu demo I downloaded and txr2 on my dreamcast.

Also where'd you get a mouse from?

Also, any USB mouse will work.
