how did you do that? with the tire wear and all...? I got to 13 and i couldnt turn without spinning out.

Pit areas, and I know how to control my own FD3S.

730 something with the Turbo V8 swap. I use the Turbo L6 cause it has 6 gears and it lighter and faster. But the T-L6 has 727hp.

yeah its way too heavy for the power. the L6's may have less, but much lighter. so it equals out plus some

well, if they used the stats for an aluminum blocked v8 the stat's would probably be a little different.

Ok, general questions here, because i thought starting new threads for these would be a waste.

1: what is a "sticky", referring to threads?

2: i understand that drifting looks cool and is an 'art' i guess, but it's not the fastest way around a track, so why is everyone obsessed with it? For the sheer fact that it is something new to master and looks cool?

well technically, in some cases drifting IS faster around corners and like you said it is an art.

well in reality, i think drifting is not practical when really trying to when a race. from what i've seen of REAL GT races, no-one drifts. For one thing, think of the tire wear you would have in real life?

and ur right, its not practical, thats why they have "drifting races" i guess youd call'em in japan. Drifting is like us going down Dog Lake Tower rd only on asphault, and its alot harder to control

hey, i know what it is, i just didn't quite understand the whole obsession with it...

well i think its the challenge of bein able to master drifting that makes it fun...also it makes use of ur control abilities to improve your driving in games...and in real life(dam i wish i was old enough to drive)

yeah, its fun, hell sometimes i go WAY out of my way just to get some more time in! it makes it even more fun if you get something with some ommph!:D

A sticky to thread like this always stay on top of all of the other threads.:)

finally got 700 hp in the supra, man this thing DOMINATES everything so far. 215+ on a regular basis with out the turbo boost trick. (couldnt use it anyways, heats up the engine after about 4 sec.)

oh, yeah. cant drive in the rain/snow. absolutly NO traction while turning at 200, the wheels tend to break loose, and send me into a spin

i reached 200mph in my pantera with level5 engine, but didn't save it. a level 6 engine for the Pantera is 280,000+ cp's!!!!! and it has a 5 speed. i hit 192 i think in my lvl6 engined supra. that was without the spoiler and only had Cfiber frnt bumber and hood. but now i have lvl4 weight reduction! the vipers are still killing me though.

Why the hell is an SUV in this game? does someone here live in japan, that can tell us what the dealo is?

NO, i told you to race in the other cities. I think it was in Osaka. i now it was on the bottom of the course (either Osaka or Nagoya)
