the get the engine change option your car has to have over 1200 miles on it. And what it does is allow you to swap any engine you want into your car. inline 4, inline 6, V6, V8, boxer 4, boxer 6, rotary, and you can choose whether you want it turboed or NA. The advantage to this is that engine swaps always produce more power than you can get out of your fully modded normal engine, and they only cost about 70k to do as opposed to like well over 100K to mod your normal engine

I swapped another I6 into my R34 last night and its over 700ps now w/ a level 4 muffler and level 4 cooling. It hauls, tho it still isnt quite as fast as my WRX cuz its still pretty heavy. I still havent done any suspension work, weight, or reinforcment to it yet, its pretty much a straight line car, tho i must say, this thing handles almost perfect even w/ the stock suspension, i dont know if theres any need for me to change it. It almost looks stock too except for the hood, spoiler, and rims :mischievous: I'll work on a body kit and some graphics today after i get off work.

Im tryin to decide what i want my next car to be when i get enough cash again. Im thinkin maybe rx7 or rx8....an evo vii would be nice, what i REALLY want is a 350Z, does anyone know who i have to race to get that car?

I found something weird last night.

I was racing and finishing the guys in Wangan and Sanki in Osaka. Then I went to my garage. It said Umbrella Condition. So, I went to race in Sanki. IT WAS NOT RAINING, BUT IT WAS SNOWING! I was happy when it snowed, it felt like winter time in Japan. But the road was wet though. But still, now we know it RAINS AND SNOWS. I think the weather thing is pretty cool.

:odd: I never said that there was no snow. I said that it didn't accumulate on the ground, dumbass. :rolleyes:

Damn i only got the GameShark 2 not the newest 1 nor an action replay. so the codes don't work..........
i'm gona to leave it runin today while i'm at work, and then again tonight, to see if i can get an engine swap fo my RX-7.
I might get an Action Replay max, is that any good? i heard u can dl stuff on that through the PS2 network adapter.........
 
I have the normal Action Replay and I think it does everything the Max does... :confused:

Anyways, go for the IL6 turbo in the RX7. Good acceleration and top-end.
 
Ugh. I've tried the mileage trick multiple times and it never works. I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

the umbrella conditions are Rain, Snow & various levels of Fog.

The mileage requirement for a swap is 1,242 miles.

For the guy who wants the Z33, beat Midnight Black Sun (Wanderer) in Nagoya.

Drifterz, play with the gears like i told ya to =)
 
I have read most of the thread and I like the answers and comments. I bought TRX3 a few days ago and I have 2,000,000 and some change. I started the race with a 300zx and won all three cities. It got alittle difficult to continue with it so I bought a WRX. It now have 576hp. and I can do 225 when I use my boost. I cant do a good paint job but thats cool. My only problems are, I want to know were the wanderers are and what is the sub garage?? I was thinking that I can put in a memory card from TRX0 and use the cars from it. I havent tried it yet, but before I do, does anyone know what the sub garage is??

Sub Garage allows you to hold 15 more cars, as your normal garage only holds 5 at a time.

In my turbo IL6 FD, I use -2"00' camber front and rear, and adjust my ride height/shocks depending on what type of track I'll be using the car on.

My car has an L6 turbo swap and is pretty much modded w/ everything else that I have unlocked so far, except im still running stock suspension (cuz i think it drives just fine w/ it) and i dont have any reinforcment modding done. Shes quick. but still not as quick as my WRX w/ the L6 swap. She still gets the job done tho, and in style too :D
 
How did you make that hood?

Looks good, not breathtaking, but good.

I wish I could have a USB mouse so I could make paintjobs like those from "Crying Pluto" or Traitor Jack Knife.

A sidenote:
So, I have 2 cars on my garage, a FC and a FD. Since I had two Rx-7s and they are known for the rotor engine, I decided to put the R sticker to both of them. Then, when I returned to the menu I saw my BAD name had changed. Now it was "Rotor King" :D
After getting the miles with my FC, I made the engine swap for a Turbo L6. Naturally I took the R sticker out of the FC, so now it is Patient Iron Man.
