Haha, the most chance of an accident comes when some snob smiles and waves from the window.

 Well they are all rich there aren't they. :p You're lucky to see any good car. We sure don't get anything other than old Mazda 323's and Toyota Corolla's here. :grumpy: I'll look at a Dodge Caliber going past because everything else on the roads is either a pre 90's crap mobile, or a madman in a van. I did see an Audi A5 or something today... Twice, it was pretty cool. My brother has told me he's seen an Audi R8 4.2 around here (he didn't say it was the V8 specifically, but hardly anyone in NZ is rich enough for a V8, let alone a V10.

My laziness has given up now that I'm using a proper computer instead of the app, and I have a Christmas avatar that I'm proud of.

Although there are so much Skyline GT-Rs here, it's hardly an event

There is one R34 GT-R here in Nelson but nothing else other than a DB9 Volante and a DBS.

I fell down the stairs this morning, but landed on my stomach instead of my head like last time..

Lol this is the reason the thread was created. Seeing the good in something awful.

A DBS!!! I've only ever seen one Aston in my life. Was a V8 Vantage. Felt lucky to see a 2011 Nissan GT-R recently though.

@Daniel, it's just you are in Auckland, where there are more rich people so you see more flash cars, me being in NZ's Bogan Central, we never see anything.

My uncle works for a guy who recently took delivery of a brand new 2012 GT-R.

I have a friend who claims his dad has an Audi R8. And I have a friend who's dad actually has and Audi R8.

Right now I'm practicing for the ALMS race at Suzuka tonight, and I haven't practiced in a few days. My last best time was 2:02.8 or .9, and within two laps I got a 2:01.5. Very happy now

I went to School with a guy who claimed he lived in a big house, routinely jumped his quad bike over his shed and who's dad received a limited edition Aston Martin. The best part? The Aston was #1 of 2 and the other one was given to Pearce Brosnan.

It was amazing how many people believed him. One day, he invited some people to his house for lunch and when we got there and saw the house was a small council house (as opposed to the mansion he had described), I asked him about it and he said "this is our other house"

His dad once picked him up in an old banger of a car that had a door that was a different colour from the rest of the car. Moral of the story? If it seems too good to be true, the old internet phrase comes in handy. "Pics or it didn't happen".

👍

The strong winds that swept through Scotland, named "Hurrican Bawbag", blew away all the litter and crap lying in my garden from people who view my garden as a bin. Good thing that, now I have Saturday free! :D

Having an early morning ride on my bmx is an awesome way to start the day.

But then I see a white Porsche 911 GT3

Consider my gears offically oiled ;)

Here I get excited when I see a Z4...

I do too, I was lucky, about two weeks ago I saw a new Z4!

Jai
An Aston is as common here as a Camaro - Corvette is in America..

I've never seen a newest generation of Camaro's, I've seen 2000 Camaros, and 66-69 Camaros. But nothing else.

What oils my gears? Taking sociology instead of parenting, and 3C English instead of 3U English next semester. Now things are fun again.

Being able to watch Two and a Half Men (Charlie Sheen reruns, not the horrible new ones) and the Big Bang Theory back-to-back oils my gears. Love the evening relaxation regimen!

Forgetting all my problems while relaxing after mowing the lawns on a overcast Saturday. Soon I'm going to watch repeats of According to Jim, because that program is hilarious! Tomorrow... After putting in my graphics card. Wait for GT Legend's digital copy to download to the PC, while drinking Bundaberg Guava! Going to be a good day tomorrow. I'll play GTR 2 demo, and GT Legends! :D All those will oil my gears heavily.

Here is my first ever post in this thread, which means either A, i'm a miserable old git who's Gears rarely ever get lubricated, or B, I simply didn't notice it exisited

Anyway, you know what really Oils my Gears? (not sure about the thread title :indiff: )

Finding out my child to be is a wee little gal, can't wait to meet her! :D

Also, a kind of bitter/sweet victory, reaching Prestige 1, level 50 on cod Black ops....problem is I don't know whether to Prestige again, I can't see any real benefits other than a different badge and some paints/emblems....doesn't seem worth it to me.

What do you all think?

This is bittersweet, but seeing my friends play an awesome thrash show. Bitter because I always wanted to, but my friends never seemed disciplined enough to actually get anything going, but sweet because they had a blast playing, and they are really talented and deserve to get noticed.

Surprisingly I don't see either too often. The only one I really see is new Camaros. I rarely see muscle at all unless it's by luck in the summer.

Prestige for more custom classes.

What grinds my gears is that I realized there are plenty of nice cars here, I just never see them because I live in a suburban area, so there isn't much traffic. The other day I saw an EVO VIII that looked stunning, chrome-ish Rota Grids, no wing, HKS SSQV BOV, sounded great, dark gray. Last night while waiting to get into a show on a four-lane highway, and even being December and 40 degrees, I saw a C1 Corvette, and Audi R8, and a great-looking and sounding Bugeye STi.

Oh yeah, and Pantera\--/_

^^^Wrong thread.

What oils my gears is a beautiful summer day at about 75 outside, with those big fluffy clouds and a bright blue sky, and a a breeze at about 2-3mph.
