I just found out the Netflix update on Xbox supports 5.1 audio :O

And they completely revamped the interface, and it may very well be the best UI I've ever seen for any kind of video player. Let alone a video streaming service.




Also, that feeling when you get every green light on your way home from work, don't get slowed down at all by other drivers. Great feeling when nothing goes wrong while driving.

Forgetting all my problems while relaxing after mowing the lawns on a overcast Saturday. Soon I'm going to watch repeats of According to Jim, because that program is hilarious! Tomorrow... After putting in my graphics card. Wait for GT Legend's digital copy to download to the PC, while drinking Bundaberg Guava! Going to be a good day tomorrow. I'll play GTR 2 demo, and GT Legends! :D All those will oil my gears heavily.

We sure don't get anything other than old Mazda 323's and Toyota Corolla's here. :grumpy: I'll look at a Dodge Caliber going past because everything else on the roads is either a pre 90's crap mobile, or a madman in a van. I did see an Audi A5 or something today... Twice, it was pretty cool. My brother has told me he's seen an Audi R8 4.2 around here (he didn't say it was the V8 specifically, but hardly anyone in NZ is rich enough for a V8, let alone a V10. :lol:

Same here, though as well as the Corollas and 323s there are Falcons and Commodores, which most of the time are driven by bogans and therefore have huge exhaust tips to make the 6 cylinder sound like a V8, stickers for Unit, No Fear, etc and clear taillights.

However I did see a Ferrari 360 in my home town once. The sound of the high-pitched V8 was music to my ears compared to the usual boganmobiles that I frequently see around town.

I saw a 360 a couple of years back. And it's the same here with the Falcons and Commodores. Just have to hope that Targa comes to town (didn't come this year). :grumpy:

And yes, surprisngly there are presents for women which are acceptable, you just gotta look in the right places :sly:

On topic, after having an oily gears week, I'm still surprised as I'm posting in here. Having a good week of continous good luck and good times is nice for a change.

I'm feeling good right now about the quality of people on this site,I think it's incredible. Usually the Internet is pretty rubbish, but people on this site are great, gifting premiums etc. I take my hat off to you.

Yes. This is the number one reason as to why I have bothered joining this impeccable site!
 
Spending time with my friends. I'm not the most socially graceful person, I'm quite awkward with people I don't know, but there is nothing more satisfying than the group of 4 (Me and my three best friends) getting together and just killing time together; whether we're shooting hoops, reminiscing about times past, debating life's great mysteries or its most trivial occurances, going for a mooch to the closest big town/cities or sat in having a multiplayer video game marathon (GoldenEye, Tekken, ModNation and DBZ Budokai 3 are the most common), it's such a wonderful feeling to be around people I feel completely at ease with.

Being part of this forum. It really is a great place; plenty of different opinions and topics here in the rumble strip, and of course there's countless members with whom we all share a passion for Gran Turismo. I'm only a background member really, but I always enjoy coming here and reading people's stories, opinions and joining in in discussions. Hopefully when I move next year, get some proper internet sorted and finally get GT5 2.0* (I'm still on v1.0!), I'll be a much more active participant in a refreshing and interesting forum which is a lifesaving beacon in an internet full of badmouths, bigots and trolls.

*It will really oil my gears if PD release GT5 2.0 as a stand alone CD in the UK. Please do this!

:sly: Oh why thank you. I don't play blues on my guitar, I make funny noises with guitars and laugh. Then walk out of the room to unleash my other noises. :p Talking to everyone here on GTP oils peoples' gears. Just some people are even nicer than others. Stares at main people I talk to on GTP, hello Alex... Hello Korza who's real name remains unknown. :odd: Etc... :p

Anyway, my graphics card is oiling my gears, I've spent most of yesterday (when the power was on anyway) playing GTR 2 and Richard Burns Rally. Only demo's but I'll have them in full soon enough.
 
Driving by the nearby airport and seeing the runway lit up. Its a really cool sight. And Skython, maybe he thinks I'm so cool he put my name twice :sly:... :lol:!
