Actually checking other parts of GTPlanet instead of check only the GT5 sub forum. Found some good things and I'm actually enjoying GTPlanet way more than I already enjoyed.

I can't remember the last time I was in a GT5 sub forum other than Photomode.

Listening to Two Door Cinema Club oils my gears, their songs are so upbeat and almost all of their album is really good.

Welcome to the civilized world. ;)

I always liked helping people out in the GT5 forum. I remember the olden days when I first joined this forum I spent most of my time answering people's questions in the Q & A or replying to similar stuff, before seeing more of the forum. I'd even found competition. But they're pretty much gone now..

I still help around though.

Well done. 👍 I used to be a GT5 section man, but now I browse more in other places on the forum I'm definitely enjoying it more, like you said. The GT5 section it pretty mad 80% of the time.

For the first time GT5 is Oiling my gears! I think it's the first time anyway... You could leave me with only a couple of cars and I'd be happy. I only need the V12 Vantage, Mercedes SLS, and Viper ACR! These three cars are just excellent to drive. I've spent the last four hours driving mostly the V12 Vantage at the TGTT drifting through Chicago backwards. And it's excellent fun!!

Been a loooooong time since I last went there and I wouldn't get in there until all the 🤬 moves out like how it was in the GT4 section... All the other sections of GTP as I'm aware is all fine, except for the GT5 section. Just wait for a couple of years it will then be like the GT4 section. All calm and quiet. Only the civilised in there.

I'm calm and quiet? :sly:

 Good! Now I can shout and scream as much as I like in there. That is until the weird alien man comes back with that straight jacket.

The fact that, I may already have a band to join when I go to Tokyo oils my gears.

I don't even join in car conversations if they are stupidly wrong. I've a couple of friends who know what they're talking about, and it's nice to have a proper car debate/conversation. But you get some people who are just talking out of their arses, and obviously know nothing about cars, they're the people I ignore.

Can I tell you my best one..

Jai: In my opinion, the Porsche 959 has to be one of the greatest cars ever built.

Kid: Nah, it is just a cheap Porsche, which you can buy for the same price as a 2002 Boxter (£3000)

Jai: You've heard of it, but you clearly don't know what it is..

I once got into an argument with some kid who thought this 6th form girl's fart canned purple Fiesta was way cooler than a Ferrari.

Ask him where he got those prices, because a 959 for £3k?

Someone at my school thinks that the Ferrari Enzo is the worlds fastest production car..

Ha! People who say things like that I just don't talk to about cars. I like how that other person thought a 959 was the price of a Boxster. I wish it was.

Also the fact that my last block consisted of me talking to an upper classman about cars and eating M&M cookies, fruit snacks and drinking Capri Sun which the class got along with a free block for some reason.

You don't even know. Everything around here is an argument as to which is better, Ford or Chevy, with the occasional Nissan lover. We all live in the backwoods here in NY and we all go mudding in our 4 wheelers and have big lifted trucks to drive around in. Pull offs every weekend too. I have about 7 friends who actually know something about cars and aren't talking out their butts. And somehow it always ends up into Ford vs Chevy. We also enjoying talking about how much power and performance can be obtained in certain engines and setups, and like to show off and burn out driving down the streets.

At least you guys can pronounce Nissan right..

Ok this story is so horrible but every time I think of it I laugh so hard. This happened maybe 3 yrs ago. So I was out at breakfast with this girl and it was just some small egg place. Our table was literally right next to the kitchen which was also next to the cash. The waitress just grab the plates and pretty much turned around to serve us plus it was only a couple eggs some toast etc, nothing really special. So everything is done and I go up to pay the chick is right beside me the whole time. The waitress tells me the bill and it was only like $10 for everything plus tax. I get out my wallet and am about to hand her a $10 bill when the waitress looks right at me and says "would you like to tip?". Obviously putting me right on the spot pretty much forcing me to tip especially since I have a girl right beside me making it the most awkward situation ever if I don't. I looked that waitress right in the eyes and said "hmm, no thanks". The girl I was with says "omg!" and turns around so the waitress doesn't see her laughing. To this day I laugh so much when I think of that story because it is the ultimate dick move. Truthfully I still don't think she needs a tip since she barely had to do anything to serve us plus it was just eggs which I can make myself. Asking me to tip is also kind of rude since you technically don't have to tip. So funny from the extreme lack of compassion on my part.

^Well if she can ask an innapropriate question, I guess that gives you the right to give an innapropriate answer. :sly:

Just wrote in the gear grinding thread that I can't buy my car until I fly home in May but...

...I'm so looking forward to it! My own motor. I can give it a nickname and spend weekends inspecting the engine. And buy a right old banger, declare it off the road and take that engine apart, perhaps.

Ah, just 5 more months!
