This is a little ironic, but I'm glad the gear-grinding thread was closed. Now, every time I come on here wanting to vent, I just find something good out of what was bothering me, and it doesn't seem so bad!

Right now, for example, I'm a little annoyed that I couldn't get my driving permit on my 16th birthday. The only presents I got was food, and a high quality '71 Chevelle SS 454 model from my girlfriend, so I was hoping for a permit. My mother decided to schedule the physical I need for the permit a week after my birthday, so I'm still not allowed to drive. The thing is, I can't be upset over it. I still get to drive in less than a week, and I'm happy about it. Not because driving is "cool" or even to drive recklessly like a typical teen boy, but because driving around town takes your mind off of things, and it is, in a way, relaxing.

Yeah but its also a good way to be alone with a girlfriend!

I only just found out PS2 games are available on the PS Store! There are some awesome games there!

Yes but they need WAYYYY more. Theres only like 15. GTA's would be nice.

Which I've been told. And having something to look forward to oils my gears. She will get her license, if she passes the driving test, before summer starts. We're working at the same place this summer, and it's a 20 minute drive. Also, we won't need to wait for a ride to see each other, or consent if there's a special occasion. You guys may be thinking alone means sex, but really besides that, being alone allows you to actually talk about whatever you want, and just being together makes me feel better. Thinking about how my future will likely be much better than right now certainly, no doubt, oils my gears.

Finally getting to play GT5 again Oils my Gears, even if most of my time was used preparing photo's for a fan fic. Had some good races with SVX and that made it all worth it. ;)

The fact that this is the time I get to grow up. Sure, there are many problems in the world, and I generally dislike where society in the hands of my generation is going, but look at the advances in technology! I'm 14 years old, so I'm young enough to see as well as use the newest technology, and be alive to see many more amazing products.

8 years ago, just 8 years, I remember playing the PS1. I thought that was amazing! Now my PS3 and HDTV looks beautiful, at times real, and my phone allows me to be here talking to all of you and games on my phone have better graphics and at times more too them than some PS1 games!

Music. Sure, I may not be a fan of 'pop' music, but the music I like is evolving. Not only can I listen to nearly all music made from Beethoven to whatever is written today, and all of the literally at the tip of my fingers. I can open iTunes on my iPod or computer and in 5 minutes I can have whatever music I want.

I can watch races that take place all over the world on TV. I can record it, find it on YouTube, or find it on TV. Stuff that it existed 50 years ago in Europe I would probably not know anything about I can now see in it's entirety. I can go on the internet and read about it's history, or read stories about the drivers, or fans writing about their experiences with racing. It's all fun to read and can add to the enjoyment.

So sure, there are some big problems, but some amazing things to come.

Sure, but Polyphony can't get dedicated online servers.

 My brother's stupidity Oils my Gears. I just popped into the toilet for a #2, just as he got home (I got in there and then he arrived). He rapidly starts trying to open the door because he's stupid enough not to realize that if the door is locked that someone's in there. Then he stormed off swearing and shouting at me. Not realizing that I was the one in control of the situation. He can shout and say whatever he wants. But I'm the one who can test how long his bladder will last. Oh how fun!? :D He tried insulting me by saying that I'm in there so long because I'm fat. I just laughed. When I told him to just use the other toilet (which is for my parents), he refused saying, "Oh they'll get :censored:y." He really is the King of Fools who still doesn't know it.

It's physically impossible for me to do a #2 knowing that somebody else is present. So that's why you won't see me in public toilets taking a #2.

I always liked writing some car reviews. I have one running for GT5 at the moment and I think is going pretty well. Even without much comment from individuals, it is still pretty fun. And so is my Fan Fic. Just from that one section taught me a bit on original writing & construction. I have quite planned for both works, but I do hope it doesn't backfire badly.. But the scary thing about writing for me is getting it right. I have a lot of ideas that can point out many roads for the storyline, however I could only choose one. And that process repeats as I write more chapters. I try to make sure it is as original as possible. I try to make sure it is vivid, and compiles fascination to the reader. I am even thinking about making a chapter solely on my drawing skills, AKA using personal comic strips, manga strips, etc. to paint the story.

I'm headed off to the autoshow in Toronto in a little bit! It's gonna be epic - I'm looking forward to collecting all the free brochures and sitting in all the nice cars. 👍

But when our parents were growing up they probably thought the same thing, and so did our grandparents when they were growing up...

You saw that episode of Mythbusters too then? ;)

Always flush before you use them, if there's something in it. (ie bodily things)

So, winning two racing league races last night oils my gears.

If you guys are still going to post one-liners, at least try to put a gear oiler with them?

But I think this is different, being that we have electronic technology where everything is available in a second. They didn't have that. Yes, they had other things but not quite the same thing.

My gears were oiled this morning.. Expecting to see that yellow F50 at Alderley Edge.. Instead I saw an Audi R8 V10 and a DBS Volante among other things.. Boring..
