Someone requested these, and since im working on the car at the moment, i thought id give what i have so far.

Settings For: Toyota Supra RZ '97 --- 386 HP (i think)

Parts To buy:

Settings:

Suspension-
Spring Rate: - 9.7 - 11.3
Ride Height: - (where ever) - 96 - 97
Shock (bound) :- 3 - 3
Shock (rebound): - 6 - 5
Camber Angle: - 3.4 - 2.2
Toe: - 0 - 0
Stabilizers: - 5 - 5

Transmission-
Auto set - 11

No Aids.

Comments: The car is a bit fatt for my liking, but she drifts like a dream, with my style.. it might be a little slippery for some. Ive still gotta work on the LSD. but this is the bulk of it.

in my opinion it slides out very much

I'm gonna be inclined to agree. I tried your settings with N3's and it still is just too unpredicatable for me. Supra has massive torque, to run that much camber on the rear coupled with N1's, just too loose for my blood. I posted mine cause I feel they're abit more control friendly, but still a very capable setup.

As you can see from the settings, i prefer a very loose rear end.
And thats how my style suits... I warned the Slipperyness :sly:
 
wow DT_C, I tried your settings, they're 50 times better than mine, I forgot to put n3's on and used the S2's...It's nice, it's controllable and you can get it slideways :) thanks
 
hey did any one get any m3 settings yet? i tried everyone's who posted here and still problems...I will try another m3 and see how it goes
 
Come on people, any new settings for anything?! Starting to get bored of drifting :scared: Never thought I'd say that...Any ideas of what cars to drift besides saying any FR?!

Some of the requested settings have been up for months. Way to be patient... :rolleyes: Cobra R you can drift stock on N2's or N3's just fine, should try that.

people have lives outside of this - busy ones with school and classes that they pay to attend.

Update was gonna be tis afternoon, but got shoved aside for a dynamics project. If i'm awake in 2 hours I'll try doing it then.

If you need settings that bad, you can always look at settings for a similar car and alter them to fit your style.

This is my first car, its a bit slippery, and tends to snap back if you arent careful, but ive learned to drive around it. I'd love some input on any of my settings. Try them out, let me know how they work for you :)
 
IJDM requested for this. In actual fact, the car drifts very well in stock condition, just need to upgrade the drivetrains if u like. I'm not sure whether below will meet your requirement. Lemme know what u find lacking and I'll fine tune it. Didn't spend that much time on it anyway. Here goes:

Buy everything EXCEPT the Roll cage. (About 514 BHP)

Damper (bound and rebound): F 8, R 6

Toe: F 2, R 0
Stabiliser: F 5, R 5

My friend's dad was a pro racer for Mazda team in Japan via '91 ~ '99 and i often see him since he's my next door neighbour now (yes, he's old.. 42 yrs old). well the point is, he loves GT4 and this is his drift setting for his RX7. Feel free to use it : ). Couple of things he pointed out about this setting was; it wont lose as much control as any other RX7 settings (in this forum thread) and you'll maintain good balance. Just give it a try, if you dont like it -- dont use it.
 
first post updated. Going to try to keep on top of this place a little more closely now.
Current idea is to do quick updates Monday, Wednesday, Friday when I return from classes, rather than a large update every week or so

Just to clarify, I dont intend to make the settings personally as many of you seem to believe. I simply don't have that kind of spare time. All I intend to do I place it in the first post so others know what you're looking for.
