I got a question for Orioles fans. When cities were competing to lure the Expos last summer, Orioles owner tried to block it. He said that DC was too close to his teams' market, and was afraid the new team there would take some fans and business away from the Orioles. Any signs of anything like that, so far?

I live in the D.C. area and have been to a couple Nationals game so far. From what I've heard, O's attendance is actually up compared to last year (so far). Although some of that is attributed to who they've been playing this year (Yankees, Boston vs Devil Rays in '04.). It also doesn't hurt that they've been playing well . I'm a Yankee fan, and thanks to Peter Angelos there's finally a team I hate more than Boston.
Dude, the Orioles are going to revert to the mean within the next two months. Erik Bedard and Bruce Chen are going to turn into pumpkins (they're both on my fantasy team, so that's a given), Brian Roberts isn't going to hit another HR this season, and they're OF is pretty weak. They've got nothing at first base, and Javy Lopez is out for a couple more weeks. BJ Ryan is legit, though. Rodrigo Lopez is going to go on a tear, but all for nothing.
