Also, a special European Formula 1 Endurance calendar, pitting heavier, sturdier versions of F1 cars at the finest of now-unsafe (or rotten away) classic long tracks for a series of 1000km races:
Damn. Even cheating it was hard to get it down to that small a number.
Yeah! To Ardius. First mention the old Hockenheim, bring back the forest and 4 long straights...
To those who don't or too young to remember... you want passing? That track was born to pass...
12. Germany - old Hockenheim (surely it could be made safe enough? Might have to lose a few trees)
Australia Phillip Island
So long as they wouldn't have to run sportscar bodywork, like the Interserie cars used to:
I got stuck on 15 races, and only stuck China and Abu Dhabi in to make up the numbers.
Ahem...
Whargh, what is that obscenity? Never heard of the Interseries before... And I think I was better off that way!
It's been a long time, they need to host the Japanese GP at Autopolis.
They never hosted it there.
Huh?But Okayama is a great shout
There's a reason why the Pacific Grand Prix didn't last very long: TI Aida is a pretty poor circuit. It's slow, narrow, very difficult to pass on, has a lacklustre surface, lack facilities and is an isolated part of Japan.
I'm a fighty kind of guy. You're determined to start a fight with me on something aren't you?![]()
Hungary hosts the Grand Prix because it's spitting distance from Budapest. Valencia has their race because the circuit is - oddly enough - within the city limits (and I think it deserves the benefit of the doubt because everyone sorted themselves out in order of speed by the first corner; sometimes you just have a bad race). As for Magny-Cours, isolated it may have been, but it was not difficult to access the way TI Aida is.Okay then Einstein if that is the case, pray tell me when they still insist on going to the Hungboroing? What was the point of that new Valencia circuit? Don't get me wrong, great circuit etc. but how many passes were made there last year? NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Magny-Cours was in an isolated part of France but they still kept going there and giving entertaining races dain't they?
I'm a fighty kind of guy.
