Crop out the Cayenne's wheel; the curves of the car will be really emphasised that way.

Yeah, I see what you mean there. It really does emphasise those curves. Also, I was looking at some of the other images, do you think that the last Porsche 997 image should have been cropped to not include the edge of that Cayenne?

No, the Cayenne gives it context.

Did you just shoot there? Or ask permission first? Arrange the visit? I'm quite interested in doing something similar. How did other customers in the garage react to you?

Well, the Porsche dealer wasn't open, however a BMW dealer (next door) was open. So we asked them politely and they said yes. The customers which were roaming around (not really customers I think :D), reacted well. They seemed intrested but no overly fussed.
#3 should be level.

Yeah, I apologise for that, I was falling off the edge of a motorway embankment. :scared:

This isn't the first time you've got an excuse for little errors in your photography. You've got to overcome these little things before taking and posting a flawed photograph. Even post-production would be acceptable in fixing this particular case.

I'm sorry. I know I'm not perfect at this. Seriously, this is my first ever camera let alone trying to be artistic with the thing. I've got alot to learn thats why posting images which might not be perfect, which in this case I didn't notice, helps me. It allows people to point out my mistakes and allows for me to correct them next time and look out for things like these again.

Don't apologize for taking a "flawed" picture. Just acknowledge and remember for next time. Ultimately, your photography is for you (unless being commissioned), so if it pleases you, then good. Of course, constructive criticism never hurt anyone.

Btw, I really dig the last one.

Yeah the photography is for me, unless something is going on I don't know about. I'm glad you like the last picture, it was on of my favourites that I took the whole weekend. I loved the atmosphere that it had when I was taking it, the car seemed to have a dark, wet personality to it however outside it looked warm and vibrant and the rain drops on the window just finished the whole look off for me.

I'm not trying to sound rude, just seems that you imply that it's the curbs fault that the camera's not level, when you should be looking for these things while taking the shot anyways. Now you know.

Actually i dont believe it would have been as easy to get the lines of the building level as some of you may think. Put something square up against your screen, now move it up from the top of the windows to each line above that, the further up you move the more the curve of the building shows. (to me that building looks slightly rounded, could just be the perspective though.) because of the position of the car the only way to avoid that would be to not have as much of the building above the car as is shown, but then the photo would change altogether.
If he had made sure the car was level at the bottom the lines of the building would have been even more exaggerated and had the same effect on the overall composition right?

Leave space around the subject, rotate canvas/crop in post processing = level image.

Some fresh ones...

That first one is biting F1GTR (pun intended). Lovely capture. I also like the second one. The blue in the picture adds a real something.

So these aren't my pics but she contacted me and we are going to do a shoot soon, I'll post the pics after the shoot is done, but until then I'll tease you a little with what will be my latest model: Elizabeth Ashley:

anyway to create a fisheye lens effect in photoshop?

Try Filters -> Distortion -> Pitch or whatever it's called, it's no really spot on but playing around with it might give what you're looking for 👍

F1GTR, I love that second shot!

It's been a long time since I've been outside, but here's what I took today:

We decided to go up to Joshua Tree Nat'l Park today, since it's been raining a lot there was a lot of mud & huge puddles. Needless to say, our Patriot has officially been introduced to what can be called "off road". We decided to see what our patriot could do, by bringing it down one of the trails there.. anywho, pics explain more, here u go:

Click for bigger pics!:Racing:
(oh, and for those wondering, its a silver one, not khaki metallic.. just mud)

mini shoot today, full shoot for another day:

You're getting insanely good at shooting cars.

Panorama from outside my window, the left side was shot during the am, the latter half the in the pm.

Old work shots.

I wish I could see the panorama, the AM/PM thing sounds very interesting.

I'm guessing either a Canon 10-22mm or a Sigma 10-20mm.
