yeah so close for me too... 2 races to win and that's it


Nurburgring X2010 Vettel Challenge need 2,08.000 i got 2,08.818 after about 1hour and a half to try ... next time i will try to practice with left foot breakin which is not really naturel to me

Suzuka X2010 Vettel Challenge need 2,10.000 i got 2,13.385 but not so many tries...

I hope to get platinum this weekend

Did it yesterday as well. Golded Vettel challenges last weekend, then grinded the last level with the F1 seasonal.

Didn't do most of the endurance races, so I guess I'm not completely done with this game. (Also, I need 46 more cars)
 
Very close to the Gold Standard trophy- 3 beginner AMG challenges, 1 expert rally, and 1 or two races not golded in A-spec.
 
Only the Air of Experience, Car Collector, and Excellent Driver trophies left.

Got just over 500 cars, and I plan to buy 6 cars after every in-game day.

Over halfway through level 38.

My B-spec driver is about a third of the way, but I will be doing a bunch of races anyway.

Will the remaining endurance races (everything after Indy 500) increase my driver level quickly?
 
Early events in the Beginner Series (Sunday Cup is probably your best bet) multiple times until you get Air of Experience trophy.

I found Nurburgring GP/F 4 hour race to be the best to get 4.1 million XP if you're 200%. Good luck.
 
In endurance races, I'm probably going to use one of my x1s. If I did the 4 hr nurb, could I race for 30 mins then leave it for an hour, and the AI would still be far behind?

I regret using it on the dream car championship :(

I've figured out in 80 game days I will have 100 cars, as I need 470-480 cars and I buy 6 in 1 day.

That number could be much bigger if I'm getting unique cars, better sort out my duplicates to avoid confusion!

I REALLY wish I hadn't left my bobs online, I would be very close to the Air of Experience trophy if I didn't.

Only another three hundred and something to go! When I have nothing left to do I might cycle through license tests. This is actually quicker than the Sunday cup, as it cycles days and you only need to load the test and move to the next one.

You only have to finish 27-28 laps by the end of the race, so you can park up after 2½ hours and it will get you 4.1 million XP with the 200% bonus.

They lowered the prize money/XP in a recent update for all races except the endurance I think, so the seasonal events are not as good grind options anymore.

So if you don't want to do 4 hour race in one go, take advantage of the suspend option when you pit.
 
So far from this, still got about 20 licences to Gold still, 3 of the World tour races (Alfa, Lambo and Rally focus) and some of the harder AMG academy races, not to mention the X1! (But I don't actually like driving that!)

Will I ever get it? who knows!
 
Just got the three Redbull challenges to go and thats it. They are all bronze right now.

A quick question. Even tho I just have those 3 trophies to go, it still says I only have 91% of available trophies. Shouldn't it read a bit higher? Its been stuck there for awhile even tho I aguired more trophies. Anyone know why this is?
 
I have plat for this and still got my replays for the Vettel challenges. Didn't rush the game so took me a little while.

Click on your own profile in the friends list and synchronize your trophies, might work, I'm not sure though.

I just took quik look on your trophyes...maybe you forgot refresh them or something????

You got 46% on your GTP account and 91% on your old???

Solution for this is just go on your profile and let your PS3 refresh them, it can take some time but it's worth of it :)

UUh that's reason why you don't have platinium, I feel so stupid now....

i just got my Platinum on GT5 today!

the vettel challenge was the most difficult for me as i dont drive that car a lot. i left dream drifter trophy for last to have something easy to look forward to after 'Gold Standard'.

to all of you that are so close i say do not give up, its only impossible until its not...
 
Vettel is the only impossible trophy for me :p

I'm at 96% complete just need the challenges all gold..

That was the hardest one for me too besides the Lamborghini Special events.

I'm pretty much done with everything on this game, except for the S.Vettel challenge...been trying at least twice a week for the past 2 years. I'm still trying my hardest today. I'm pretty sick of it, but I will soldier on!

For those who managed to clear this challenge, is there any advice that I can take advantage of? Thanks!

:ouch: I was going to take the same approach as you. Every other day a few attempts, but now I be = :nervous:.

Odd Percentages. I am at 88% with only 5 golds left. 3 Vettel, 1 Driving Music and 1 Collectors Trophy.

Noticed some trophy's were up to 2%, but I did the GoKart challange and netted me 1% only.

Maybe I'll be left with 3 golds and the impossible platinum :yuck:
