Yes, the POD is in the game, as far as we know. It's in the game for the same reason that 21hp whatchimacallit was in GT2... ****s and grins. I'll probably get one for the hell of it late in the game when I've got the money to spare. Then sit back for the half-hour Sunday drive around the 'Ring.. hehe.

I'm going to call BS on that Toyoto Demo comment, as I have it and there are only two cars in the game. The Prius and the Triathalon thing. And you never race against other vehicles. Unless that's from a hacked disk or something.

However, it could be from the Gran Turismo Concept Geneva (or where-ever) which I believe did have quite a few cars in it, all Toyota. But I thought they were all concept cars and that one running third is apparently not a future car (:

Oh that would be excellent if they put the POD in there!!!! I used to hybrid that car in GTC and send it flying thru the signs on the pod track. I also sent a Camaro and other cars I made and inserted them onto the pod track!!! I have videos too!! The game only allowed PODs on the track unless you did the hybrids! That car changed colors depending on how its personality was effected. 👍
edit: If done correctly that pod can be launched from the jump all the way to the other end of the track straight thru the banner sign.

The Toyota POD rules!

Well, I saw this car for the first time in the Premire Gran Turismo game, Gran Tursimo Concept 2001. Screens of it this little car all over the place. Well, just a few days ago, I just randomly thought of this thing. It wasn't too cool until I read on about it. The car features emotions. Even talks. Its truely the brink of the automobile. The thing responses on how you treat it, Which is really interesting. As I continued to read about the car I got more interested. But I see many people just laugh at it and walk away. Its a sad response thats toyota got. But people didn't value what the thing had instore. You think about it. Its possibly one of the best concepts ever reveiled. It was first reveiled at the 2001 Tokyo Auto show. the same show that GTC2001 was released and given free for whoever attended the show. Sony attended the car for its "extras." The emotion feature was one of them I beleive. Enough chat, search for more information about this car if you want to, its truely something to read up on.

Well I have a video on my pc ready to upload of the POD race off of GTP if any of you NTSC guys want to watch it. Can someone host it please?

If I remember correctly I used the POD base and just threw the Camaro body on there from GT3 which I thought was awesome that you can bring a car from one game to another. You are normally only supposed to have a POD in that race. But I saw that huge jump and knew I had to get somethign else in there.

If you liked that one then I have to find the one of the POD that I sent flying thru the air into the other PODS. I knocked one against the wall so hard and it started turing colors. Just imagine the Camaro video I posted above with a POD instead.
