It's not that I don't like them, I just don't have much interest in them, besides, I haven't had the chance to try one in real life even tho I am curious to try one. But still if more than one or two people are interested I guess we could do one anyway.

some good ideas guys, i like the idea of having some single make races/ championship.
allthough i'm not a huge fan of GT5's racing karts, but we could get some interest in it.

Does anybody know if there is a kart series to this?

The thing with karts is that they aren't very easy to race when compared to something more mild like a normal car, my idea was that the car would be problably a FF. One car that I really like stock is the TRD Celica. Or maybe an FR car like the GT86, but upgrades should be very limited. But this is just my opinion.

MonGnoM I'm having a hard time with my internet, to the point I'm cursing, I can barely do anything here in GTP, I can't even send PMs so i'm not creating the thread for now, maybe we could talk to somebody to help us get our name out there, or maybe a friendly race with a team.

OK GUYS, we should attack now alien's idea of a single make championship, under the name of PRT, to get a little bit more popular here on GTP and attract some new guys.

@alienwire: how do you want to organise it, what are the rules?

Keep it simple, in a way that you can drive fast easily so people with less experience can enjoy too, I'm thinking an FF or FR, very few upgrades, has to be a car that's handles well from the beginning, the races itself should like WTCC about 10 to 15 laps depending on the track, maybe 2 races per track, give ideias for a car, I'm not sure what to choose, one I was thinking was the TRD Celica but it's not an easy car to get so maybe a premium car like the GT86, not sure about the tires, only thing I'm sure is that it has to be in the sports class. Tell me if I'm missing something

i think it's great.
aero parts should be allowed, for individuality hehe (WINGS!!!)

should be nothing too fast, how about BRZ vs. FR-S vs. GT86?
these are practically the same cars.

all the cars should be available in eite in the OCD or the NCD, not everyone has all cars.

the WTCC rules are great.
we should also run a 20 minutes qualifying, a qualifying race and a final race.
10-15 laps, or 50 km or 30 miles.

for the tyres, i would prefer either sports medium or soft.

I think that's everything, tires I think it should be sports medium. I'm going to make the list of upgrades that you can do, do you think around 280 to 300 hp is to much?

that's just right.
maybe trans, drivetrain and suspension tuning should be allowed, or should it stay stock?

alliw exhaust tuning for the sound, some cars sound really strange when you drive them stock...

about the sound I'm not sure witch one to choose, they all sound kinda bad, I was thinking only stock gearbox, the drivetrain you can put everything and the best suspension.

for the exhaust, my idea (sorry, i didn't explained it well) is looking how much hp the car has with racing exhaust, and if someone likes to put the standart exhaust, then he could add other parts to come to the same amount of hp,

at the race day, we could fix a hp /pp limit.

with the setup I have 309hp in racing exhaust and 285hp in stock exhaust, so yea he could do that, but before we start the thread I think we should wait and see what people on the team think about this.

i recruited 2 guys today...
both made an gtp account, i hope they'll find us here,

Nice, that's really good for us, when do we get to meet them?

that's the question...
i said to them they should post something on this thread, so i'll find them, one found the thread, but he didn't post anything.

I try to contact them on PSN later.

EDIT:
one guy raced in the GT500 race against the rebel_RCN team, Team-Piggysmalls/Ranman20 was his name, but i never recruited him.
so i did yesterday.
he sent me a OP profile pic yesterday, i only have to upload it.
