The REAL reason why we don't get the special GT discs?

:grumpy: Is it just me, or does it seem like we ALWAYS miss the boat when it comes to the special demo discs for each GT game like Concept (?) and GT4 Prologue (GT4) Why do WE always have to wait until the full game gets here to join in on the fun?

One word............NASCAR.........PD is punishing us for having a terribly boring motor sport. Seriously this is a conspiracy. I think Bill France is involved. Maybe he bribed KY to keep GT4P and GTC out of the US cause he though it would steal some of "good old merican circle track racing's" thunder. :p
 
Yeah I hate that we don't ever get anything. Maybe cuz we have like, thousands of miiles of ocean between us and everyone else? :dopey:

Hehe, my thoughts were similar. Just been playing on GT4:P it's good. Get it.
 
People go on and on about how the United States is so great and has so much to offer and is a world leader ... blah blah blah.

Almost everything I care about is either European, Australian, or Japanese. Ok, so that's like 50% of the world, but still. I can hardly wait for my girlfriend to get her master's degree so we can attempt to "go somewhere else".

You are in Scotland. And you did get GTC and GT4p. I was just sticking up purely for the USA boys and girls who missed out on the games. Still, though, here's some food for thought: anybody think PD is keeping the demos from coming out here (USA) so that they can get bigger sales?

I don't really mind all that much, I don't want to spoil the game with actual gameplay even though I did play the Toyota demo :guilty:
 
its true.. im sure your grins will be slightly wider than ours when you play gt4 for the first time.. if thats possible

I've got no idea why we didn't get Prologue. I find it quite dumb by PD becasue there is a huge amount of GT fans down here. Especially in the US. I hope we at least get GT4 earlier then everyone else ;)

Kazunori Yamauchi is scared of groundhogs, so he won't go to the USA in case he sees one..
Masaaki Goto suffers from Lupus, so he won't go out in the daylight and spends most of his time locked in Yuichi Matsumoto's basement, eating crickets.
Akihiko Tan is allergic to yellow.
Keiichi Ashizawa is opposed to crossing the International Date Line on religious grounds and is susceptible to Deep Vein Thrombosis, so a 14 hour flight is out.
Takeshi Yokouchi is really a labrador - quarantine rules prevent him from entering the USA.
