6.43 winning time last race. I finished 4th quite easily in a badly tuned merc sls on the joypad . This was despite being rammed by an American driver called Deeznutz who couldn't overtake me along the twisty back straight and rage quit when he spun himself off
Watching the next race .... uh oh... GT5 black screen ... wth? ??

yeah one of two in the club it seems, when i read the first post i thought it was offline, not sure how greatly online physics differ but even getting a clean lap in is much more difficult, even without other cars you have to run a full lap before the timer starts, the pressure! oh and what about drafting? having two fast guys running together will lead to an overall faster time than one car out front could achieve.

Well once we had the correct setup on the M3, no wing instead of wing, it became clear that a 6'27 was technically possible. I mean even I ran 30.8, so clearly sub 30's are on the cards. I do not doubt that. But knowing whats possible and actually getting it is another thing. 2-3 seconds at this level is massive. A sub 30 time does not mean you can run a 27.
Personally I think I have been very respectful. Ive built a car and spent hours practicing under the exact regs u guys race all trying to help suss it out.

Read on good friend. And how did I pick this "possible" time out of thin air before anyone (besides myself) even knew it was possible? How did I know it was faster without the wing?
Once again, sounds like experience wins over guess work.

Read the original thread man, At first i was nearly 10 seconds faster than Small_fryz and I got Crucified for posting impossible laps.
Now that we have established that they are possible, you guys switched to a different hate wagon, claiming I have yet to prove I could personally do it.

Without even reading your post I'll just say this much, it's rare to see some random crash in and be able to beat Dion so easy. I know enough kats that run about .5 or so per min faster then he but hey, they are even more rare.

You did very little to let us know the tune on the CSL that you used to do the lap. I specified multiple times how important the minor details were. Wing vs no Wing was worth 3 seconds.
As for predicting exactly whats possible, well one could simply turn SRF on and do a quick run.

I'm just going off the way people were acting on that previous thread. I very much enjoyed watching your replay, that hard work on your M3 has payed off! I feel your pain haha, I tend to spend weeks on my tunes, very frustrating but rewarding when you get things right haha.

thats reason at its best, I haven't seen any "reason" from the hate wagon guys yet. Just assumptions because someone ran this lap, opposed to that lap.

I'll just say, for now, I wasn't impressed.
Cham....Pion seemed decent, but with his car selection all he could do was get in my way for a while. JayMaSon had a knack for getting in front, but I usually gained quite quickly on him when I had clear track ahead.
