I tend to disagree with that statement. When I take photos with my Fujifilm s9600 which in no way is a cheap camera (although is getting a little old now) I get noise. So is my real camera which takes real photos of real objects, unrealistic??

I think the definition of real looking is with the eyes.

If i were you i would try panning mode 3, this way you still have the feel the car is driving (blurred background and rotating rims) but the car would be completely sharp 👍
