"beware of Trojan's. There complete SMEGHEADS."

"we have in our midst a complete SMEGPOT." (hey technically its different :) ) or if you dont like that "genitalia SMALL and inofensive."

"I never want to hear from that SCUM sucking, lying, weasel minded smeghead in my entire life."

Perfect! That's 3 excellent examples! I wanted to say the "Smeg" part could only be used once, but that'd've been a dead giveaway wouldn't it!
[ACE RIMMER VOICE] Your go again Davey-Boy! [/ACE RIMMER VOICE] :)

And yes there's a pattern emerging, but I'm keeping them simple for the time being. I haven't got time to watch all the episodes again to figure out a true Famine-esque brain teaser like :-
"How many times it the letter E used in all the combined episodes of Red Dwarf?"*

*Any smart-arse answering 5 to that hypothetical question will be on the receiving end of a very large Polo mallet! ;)

Why, certainly! Happy to oblige! An easy one this time!

Name at least 3 insults used by the Cat and directed at Rimmer, which contain the letters H and D in that order, and name the episode they appear in. :)

Come on!
Ok, no need to name episodes, and I'll give you 2 of 3.

Hadron Head
Goalpost Head

Whoever can name 1 more gets next question.
Do I need to make it any easier than that? ;)

Ok, evidently I did.

Alphabet Head would have been another shining example.

It now appears that this thread is officially:-

Deader than a can of spam.

Deader than A-line flares with pockets in the knees.

Deader than corduoroy.

R.I.P. Red Dwarf Quiz Thread.

He was a special agent for the Space Corp. and was programmed to act like a complete twonk, in order to guide Lister to his destiny as ruler of the second universe.

I think.

Although Rimmer blames it on his parents.

Nope... That wasn't real... That was a fantasy brought on by the despair squid...

The event I'm thinking of could have sent his life in a completely different direction...

;)

Hey! It's Alive again!
Although I'm scared to answer in case I kill it again! :guilty:

OK then, the event that you're asking about is that Rimmer was allowed to progress to the next school year instead of being held back.

Arse. I fell for that one. :dunce:

We have a winner!...

What does Kryten discover about himself when the Simulant gives him the password to the file he's never been able to access, in "Beyond a Joke"?

He was originally created in the likeness of his creator's (presumably Professor Mamet) ex-boyfriend. Who I think was called "Tim".

Wow! This is back from the dead like a fiery phoenix!
Or a poor plotline from "Dallas"! :sly:

Famine is correct! Your go!
Although I'd have to double check, but I think the name Kryten gives is "John Washington" for his likeness.

You're not thinking of "Amatuer Hammond Organ Recital Night" are you?
That was on the real Red Dwarf, not an alternate version.
Take it away Skutters.....

I was under the impression that it was an alternate one, since Lister and Cat would never stand for it and the Skutters would rather bash their heads into a wall than play Hammond organ.

Besides which, there isn't a Hammond organ on the real Red Dwarf for them to play...

Oh well, I'm guessing that's the answer anyway. I've just bought series 1-4 on DVD, and I'm getting 5-8 after pay day. any series 1-4 questions I should get no problem, I've just watched them all over the last couple of weeks. It's been a long time since I last saw the other series though.

How do you know? Have you been onboard? :P

I'm not suggesting Dave & The Cat would stick around for it, they've probably confined Rimmer and his Hammond playing Skutters to the Diesel decks, where the engine noise would drown out the sound! ;)

Ok, another question then.

What caused Humanoid Kryten's "Double Polaroid"? :)

"No vacuum cleaner should give a human a double Polaroid!"... :sly:
