I can never make the name out clearly, but it sounds like "Thomas Albarn".

I love the Inquisitor.

Oh pap!

Which Spacecorps Directive is the odd one out and why?
#699, #1742, #34124, #196156

(they're all genuinely used Spacecorps Directives... :D )

I'll hazard a guess.

Do some directives forbid an officer from doing something where as the other is something else? Like to do with parking spaces or something?

Nice try, but no. The parking space thing is an All-Nations Agreement (or some suchlike) rather than a Spacecorps Directive anyway.

I'll post up the text of the Directives a little later, if everyone's struggling.

now i think i know 3 of the directives, im sure i know 2 of them. Is it 34124 because its the only directive that has anything to do with sexual activities?

Spec....

That'd be a silly reason. Besides 196156 sort of does too...

Three of them were quoted by Kryten and one by Rimmer?

That's not a bad answer, and none too far away.

That's NOT the reason, but it's bloody close. Which was the odd one though?

If the above was close I cant imagine it being this but...

#1742, #34124 and #196156 all refer to objects in a persons posession. (ginger toupee, false teeth and a exercise bike seat.)

#699 refers only to the person themselves

Long shot or what :)

Three were quoted incorrectly by Rimmer and Kryten corrected him. #699 was quoted by Kryten, and presumably Rimmer would have complied had he not been wearing a red and white gingham dress and army boots at the time. :dopey:

*Waits for Her to destroy his dreams.*

I'm liking some of these answers, but I was going far more nerdy than that...

Crikey. I didn't even think of that one.

We've established that #699 is the odd one out, and we've had some terrific reasons, but none were the one I was thinking of...

I've got to give it to jammyozzy for his first reason.

My actual reason was that #699 was the only one not used in a season 6 episode, the Directives appearing in Quarantine (4), Psirens (6), Psirens (6) and Rimmerworld (6) respectively.

Ah nuts, how am I gonna come up with a question that tops that? :nervous:

*Sits and prods memory.*

OK, what unfortunate design defect of the skutters was used in an actual episode, and what caused the problem in the first place?
