I'm not a big fan of "scary movies" because usually they're just a bunch of idiots running around in the woods where they don't belong doing stupid things and end up getting axed. I mean, stay off Old Man Jedd's land and he won't wack you in the head with an axe. Blaire Witch comes to mind - stupid kids in the woods doing stupid things.

However ... this movie is different. The main characters are intelligent. They do intelligent things (mostly). So it's entertaining because you want to help them.

Errr ... I can't say too much, might ruin the movie (:

I don't see why people thought that the Blair Witch Project sucked so bad. It was probably the least scariest horror move I've ever seen, but it kept me laughing for hours. Seriously. I thought it was hilarious.

Anyways, too the point. I really want to see the Ring mainly because my friends have seen it and they liked it.

Blair Witch wasn't scary though. I'm almost possitive the intent was to be scary. But you're right, most people laughed at it. That doesn't make for a very good horror flick. So if I watch it with comedy in mind, I'm sure I'd like it.

Sixth Sense was intended to be scary. I did not find it scary in the slightest. I think I jumped at one point, but I don't even remember when that was. I saw it as a very very VERY sad trajedy. That poor boy had to deal with dead people for the rest of his life. That's so incredibly sad. No one should have to do that, especially a child.

Now, Mothman Prophecies was neither scary, nor funny, nor a trajedy. Maybe a sob story, but it wasn't really even good at that. I was impressed that they made the man try so hard.

The Game was a good movie ... right up to the end. At which point I was really pissed.

All those movies about "I know what you did last summer" and the other stupid one with the butcher knife dude ... nah, I laughed at those too. The girls were mostly hot though - that was enjoyable. Too bad they couldn't just cut their close off instead of cutting them to pieces completely.

I've already made some.... well lets just say I've covered my butt. It was a good show, and only PG-13....., so mostly anyone into movies can watch it. Goody for them, eh? It will be good once everyone's watched it so we can discuss the bigger picture here.

I thought it was meant more as a thriller than as a horror flick. I certainly didn't think it was scary, although some of the things that the dead people had gone through were pretty unpleasant. It was a cracking movie however.

Signs was a good movie.

The Ring was awesome. The ending was so incredibly good. If you enjoy movies that really make you jump, go see it. Gives you a real adrenaline rush at some points. Definetely one of the best movies of the year.

I had trouble going to sleep for about an hour.

I thought it was pretty good. I usually don't go to the theater to watch "scary movies," but the James Bond movie was sold out so I went to this one instead. I am glad I did. Afterwards, I managed to scare the **** out of one of my friends that saw it too.
