Ummmm. If you send me the replay I only get to watch the race as an overview and I can't click on any specific driver to get their details...

What I really need is for you to:
-Load the replay and then let it run to the last lap (while you do something else)
-On the last lap press pause and get a pen and paper.
-Press play and go to the leaders view, press pause and note his fastest lap.
-Press play, go to 2nd place, press pause and note his fastest lap.
-Repeat the above steps for the rest of the cars
-Type me an email with the drivers and fastest times.

I have the photo of the final positions and total times, so I just need fastest laps please.

Yes while bonus points is so easy to get I will also like 10 of them because my practice time for monza was distroyed with the birth of my first born last week Oh and thanks to the developing team of gt5 for maintaining the server on thursday.LOL!!!!!

can you please explain how this consistency points allocation will work, my cons points were 5.12 or something like that, now i had a look at monza and there i had a figure of 3.31, so i assume i get the 7 points, but you mention something about a point for every % that you bring yr figure down with, so this is where i get confused, if i had to calculate it i would have a 40% improvement, so does that then mean i get an extra 40 points...lol please explain.

I'm working on Monday night Carb and I think there are a few other guys working as well. Just win the oval race with a record time and duck early. U can make it!

Hey Bronzo..... Ja my consistency was 5.1 odd the previous race and for Monza it's 3.1. We could build a serious lead in the championship with an extra 47 pts. Lol

You know what could work here, and I am just suggesting. It even my promote better racing if the drivers give it a go:

This consistency value could be on from now till last race BEFORE Suzuka, we have the replay data from the races, we take all the races from Indy onward and record the drivers consistency value. Then at the end you add them all and get another average which would be the average of consistency for all the remaining races together.

The driver which has the best consistency gets to add 10pp to his race at Suzuka and seen as its the last race he will be the only one with the advantage.

So this wont effect the points (yet) but could play a huge role for someone come the last race.

Morning Homes...... the bonus points and extra bonus pts per % is a great idea, but I think in my case it's going to equate to a huge points advantage, which I think is a little unfair. I personally think we should just scrap the extra % bonus and just give the 7pts bonus to the guy with the best consistency?

Looking a bit complicated... maybe Season 3 should be a 'normal' racing series once again where we just get points for where we finish?

just scrap the bonus points for everyone, we all race for points and there should be no extra 7 points for whatever, if you still feel you want to give extra points give it to someone who missed a few races. but def not to someone leading the championship or winning a race, cause they get the allocated max points anyway... i think the guys would lose interest very quickly if there are bonus points for the leaders..

i had an idea for season 3 we would go back to the same car cup idea except for we would use different cars e.g.
nascar at daytona.
ford wrc at eiger mini
minis at london
go karts at autumn ring mini
transcammer as laguna
i think you get the idea

Will, I like the idea of returning to the same car cup with a 'different' same car every week. Maybe we call it the 'sam same but different' cup.

Also, we should regulate the tyres for each race.

Just be careful with regulating the tyres. It may cause accidents

what would make it more interesting if we made it completely random so we don't know what were driving till half an hour before the race

OK here are the standings (eventually) lol. I think the fact that Monza is atrack where drivers are naturally more consistent and the fact that people were trying to be more consistent caused a HUGE improvement in everyones consistency (except will ).

So I think the most fair thing to do is give 7 bonus points to the person who improved the most... Zuat!

Also, because of the debates about clean driving etc and the fact that the next 2 races are on tracks where there is potential for loads of bad driving, the next 2 rounds will have bonus points for the most sportsman-like drivers. If you feel someone deserves bonus points, then suggest it and I will check it on the replay.

If someone accidentally punts off another driver but gives up his position as soon as possible, is that considered good sportsmanship in this system? Just wondering if it's possible to be voted for that even if the unpreventable accident takes place.

If that happened you would have to ask why the punt happened in the 1st place. If was from a reckless overtaking maneuver then definitely not. If it was a driver who has been clean all race and this is an isolated incident and a genuine mistake then yes.

At Monza, going into the 1st chicane, I braked way too late and instead of using the car in front as my brakes and potentially ruining his race, I actually decided to duck left onto the grass even though I knew the grass would mean I had no chance of making the corner. I think something like that might get a bonus point at least...

The best way I suppose, would be if say 2 or more drivers are involved in a good battle for multiple laps and they make clean passes at good positions on the track, then all drivers involved would get their race reviewed and possible get a bonus point or 2.

Okay, thing clear. I actually don't care about my points, but definitely don't wish to seem like an aggressive driver, that would totally ruin my reputation as a tactical striker...

BTW, why's Pep not included in the overall points?
