Like the idea tho I noticed that some of the closing speeds before corners are quite large however I'm pleased that my consistency had gone down but ive done less practises this weekend as I got a new motorbike and have been riding round rural England so I might struggle
P.s does any 1 like my idea bout different disaplines ones chosen at random

carbo u do not come over as an aggressive driver, you drive very clean. we need more drivers like you. we all had a problem with a certain driver, but i have been thinking about what the problem could be, as he insists that he drives clean. i noticed this driver always have lag, so maybe it is this lag creating the situation. does it make sense?

Okay, thing clear. I actually don't care about my points, but definitely don't wish to seem like an aggressive driver, that would totally ruin my reputation as a tactical striker...

BTW, why's Pep not included in the overall points?

Oh yeah, we allowed to cut over that white area before the first tunnel?

I think pep is only running the 2 sunday events with us because his got other races on thursday's

bronzo, I don't quite understand why you still consider me as too slow :/ I thought getting into the 1'08's was already good enough to at least be able to finish on top of the midfield, which is all I'm wishing for atm.

Good race lads. Ya know, looking at this race, I might have a chance to improve once again, maybe reach the top 5 anytime soon... too bad I got left in exactly the middle between the two packs so the last part of the race was really uneventful o_O

good race carbo, but i think you got your work cut out for you trying to catch silver and driver, which are 4th and 5th, considering driver won the last race. i really had problems staying with the gtr's on this track, myself and canu can be happy there were not more gtr's in the front runners, scale nearly got me on the last lap, so i was lucky to end up in 4th(3rd) cause pep dont get points.

it was the most difficult race to date for me, concentration levels were sky high.

btw, what happened to the other drivers, porchino and nelan?

yes i know, but these drivers put a lot of practice in for these events, that is why i am saying it will be difficult for you to catch them.

Carbonox
Thanks for the cheering up, but I'm still gonna need a lot of practice.

You're not that far off, try keeping the gas on thru the corners, especially the high speed corners, even if it's just at 20%. As soon as you come off the gas completely it unsettled the car and makes it loose and you lose momentum.

I prefer not taking the risk, especially at the closing section of Deep Forest...

maybe we all could have a look at the replay and see where we could improve. i was bumped hard on lap 2 by a certain driver, not to mention the bump i received on the formation lap by another which spun my out.

the incident i had with scale was a race incident so all fair, just bear in mind that if you are going to make moves like that, then you can expect the same treatment come next time when i am behind you. just remember it is easy for a lot of us who have control over where we place our cars on the track to place our self in that same spot going into a corner at 220 km/h (on the inside) i just make a point of it not to do it, but i promise you that i can also drive like that, but i only do that when i race online against a bunch of strangers who will do anything to get to the front.

it all boils down to respect..

this is just my humble opinion...

what would make it more interesting if we made it completely random so we don't know what were driving till half an hour before the race

we can even vote for the track as we get into the room for quali:idea: lol

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
damm u internet

I was nearly in tears

Nice race guys.

@ Silver - nice and close at the start.

Well done pep.

Awesome.

Thanks.

It was a really good race... well done to Pep and Driver! I honestly don't know how Pep got thru the field from second last so quickly, it's amazing. I struggled from last and had some great battles along the way, especially with Silver, damn you were fast at stages of the race.! Sorry for bumping you off, but I did wait and let u back thru. All good I hope. Things got a little tight with myself, Bronzo and Scale, but I think it was all just rubbing, and that's part of racing! What fun, thanks guys!

I don't think anyone has voted for someone yet? I think Silver was exceptionally clean and neat and has my vote.

i agree, he was very clean, did not even want to overtake me, and in doing so, lost a position.

well done to driver 101 with his 1st win, now it is your turn for a good run.

Yeah, thanks everyone for a nice race. I actually finished a race! Yay...

I had some good dices with Petrol and Zuat. Really enjoyed that.

I am just watching replays to try and decide about 1 or 2 incidents before I can finalise the points. I see Silver has a few votes and I was driving with him for the last few laps even though he was a lap ahead of me. Even though he was close to canu and bronzo, it was super clean. I think zuat and carbon also drive very clean all the time too and from the replay there were very clean (apart from carbons 1 mistake - which I think we can forgive), so unless anyone has any issues with it, I think the following bonus points are in order:
Quicksilver - 5
Carbon - 3
Zuat - 3

There was however 1 incident that was pretty 'shocking'... Bronzo got shunted on the formation lap. There was quite a bit of crazy unnecessary chaos on that formation lap so it was not just 1 individual. The next track is Monaco where cold tyres and walls everywhere is a recipe for disaster, so I propose the following:

Once we get the final proper race grid/start, the pole sitter drives off, around the corner and then stops about 1 quarter of the way up the hill while EVERYBODY ELSE STAYS STILL ON THE GRID. Once pole sitter is around the corner then 2nd place can go park directly behind him and so on until we have a perfectly neat single file line that is parked on the hill. Once everybody is there and in order, we then pull away carefully and maintain the order for the whole formation lap WITH NO MORE OVERTAKING ALLOWED UNTIL THE PROPER START OF THE RACE.

Please let me know if you think this is a good idea and if you have any ideas for improvements etc 👍

I am all good with that, makes sense. Just got to make sure all the drivers understand that.

Also I have just noticed a couple of races now, and I haven't seen the DF replay yet, but I don't understand why drivers on the formation lap feel the need to accelerate and then brake hard, this is repeated throughout the lap. It messes up the flow and causes a chain reaction down the order. The formation lap is suppose to be at a consistent pace and smooth.

Sorry having a little b!tch.

Oh yes, I fully agree with Silver getting the bonus. He is one of the cleanest guys out there, doesn't rush and keeps it cool. A couple of times in the first stages of the race he had huge opportunities on the first corner to dive down the inside and force a pass, but always backed out to avoid an unrealistic door slamming style pass. Great stuff. Maybe a few can learn from his driving.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Yes, I think this is the ultimate reason why I collided with Bronzo on the formation lap... I thought he was gonna go and catch up with the leading pack which was already some distance away, but slowed down instead and left me with nowhere to go...

hey carbon, no problem, i was suppose to be 7th, so when i passed you i realized that i was 6th so i was trying to wait for u to pass me.

one thing that bothers me is the qualification, maybe we could simulate a race when we do our practice, and see if you really get penalized for so called cutting corners, i just do not understand how the fast guys can get like 7th to 11th and the slower guys get top positions.

i think we should do our qualification on our race pp, that way we all stay on track and the race starts after q1, i am sure that will sort out the problem.

Yes this qualifying has been a bit weird. Most are dead sure its got to do with the game picking up a potential corner cutting lap. But who knows.

I like the idea of qualifying with your allocated PP according to where you are in the championship. It makes life a little easier.

The only issue then is - All the restricted drivers will have to enter the track first in qualifying, then, you cannot exit the track page and go back and do a set up change otherwise we wont know if a PP adjustment has been made.

Hi Guys,

It's with great regret that I have to withdraw from the series:(:( :(:(My workload is killing me at the moment and it will be until the end of the year... Guess its just the nature of the industry I'm in.
Its been an absolute pleasure racing with all you guys and I have learnt such alot from all of you. Great bunch of guys to race with and will definitely join again in the future.
I might not be gone for good as I might be able to join a few races down the line workload permitting. I might even join Bronzo's daily practice sessions if I can as well. LOL

So good luck to all of you and remember to keep it on the track.

Best of Luck to all and

Homes, big thank you for creating a fantastic race series...

Cheers:cheers:
