What should the best tire we use for Season 3 be?

-1. The current length in the schedule is already a stretch for me and even if you do switch out one of the tracks I will not attend because I don't have the money to buy it. Just saying.

Once the first points race is over, I'll add Motegi East to the ITCC Schedule; as a no points track. It's an incredibly fun track.

Has anyone run Audi times yet? I am interested in what they are running. I know some quick times have come from the rx8 camp.

I ran a 1:46.3 on my first lap with the Camaro. But it's not broken in all the way, nor upgraded all the way either.

Will you be there Polar?

It'll be close, I'm traveling through time zones that day (I gain a hour) so I hope I'll make it, ITCC is almost a positive no.

And when motegi is released, I'm thinking of doing a totally seperate "mini championship" that will be totally separate from the regular championships. It'll include both motegi and spa.

And don't worry, if you don't have the tracks you won't be penalized points wise, you just won't be able to do that championship. It'll use these cars exactly.

I hope you can make it. I need someone to compete against in the back. :scared::crazy:

The Camaro AND RX-8 are running 1:46s. Nice!!

Also... I'm not going near the Audi. It's the Veela of the car world; so great, you just don't ever defile it... nor deflore it..

I would feel bad driving it. It has such a reputation to uphold. All of those 24 Heurs Du Mans victories.

LOL 24 Heures du Mans? N'importe pas.

Otherwise... I just mean that the Audi handled too well. It just didn't have any cons. I can't fault the car for any of what happened last season. The only time the car *was* responsible for my Finishing pos. was Indy...:ouch:

Hmm looks like I'll need to do some work with you Mel. Was at 1:49's last I checked. However, I am heavily distracted as of late.

I'm getting my DFGT today, and as soon as I get it, I'll be on Daytona faster than my R8 can get there. Going to practice a lot for this. I'm running 47s now, but with a sudden shift from DS3 to DFGT I hope to finally change it to 46s.

My Sauber is running 1.38s. I can't break that barrier even with tc on.

That's what I was running with the R92. So if that's the case it's all evened up.

Sounds good. Looks like we nailed the specs. I might be on later for some testing if you want to. Mainly ALMS and Rolex because I haven't even started on the GV5 set up yet, and I have already played with the Focus for the ITCC twice today before work.

Somehow managed to get the Viper running into the high 1:45's, but low 46's is probably going to be the comfortable lap time. I was having some trouble with driving the car around Daytona, and having to REALLY be careful about corner cutting the chicane so not to invalidate my lap got to me a little.

Are we running Tokyo or Daytona this weekend? I could have sworn that I missed Daytona last weekend but Im not sure now. Everyone is still posting times for Daytona.

I'm sure the GT's times will be in the 45's for qualifying up front. Like I said, with the Camaro, I ran a 46.3 on one of my first laps with it. I didn't have it broken in nor fully tuned up. So whoever is in that car- know that you got a lot of potential to go under 1:46's.

Nice.

Yeah I think 1:45.8 is about my limit. I may be able to shave a tenth or two off overall in general, then maybe a bit more in Quali for hotlap on less fuel, but meh... low 1:46's would suffice for me right now.

However, I think its been said before that I focus too much about lap times prior to a race rather than looking at consistency, so... if I tweak the car a bit more for longetivity, learn to nail the corners right without stressing the tyres, then that should do it. I had a lot of problems here at Daytona last season, and won it through dumb luck.

Polar... quick question, but why can't you have both DP and GT have same finishing points? I noticed you bumped GT to 100 but kept DP at 80... I know that the classes are different and there's less in one and more in another, but come on... lol. :D

Well there are more gt than dp. And I think I made dp have 60 points? I could be wrong... I'll look for more mistakes tomorrow in the car.
