They aren't taken during the race. In this thread, you'll come across more pics taken in a race. Some users do use Photoshop for further edits.

You're right regardless though - damn graphics ARE insane!!!

I think the in-game graphics are not as eye popping. They get the lighting pretty right but compare to PC most things still lack resolution

Revamped the old livery with sharper decals and a new colour now that I have more than a few.
