Welcome to the one night JDM tribute mini-series base thread.

In the fashion of the test series that were run on the Miatas, I am planning on putting another few mini-series up involving different versions of the most illustrious Japanese cars through the years.

I am thinking about doing so with the Silvias next, regulations will be updated soon.

I would like to host a Mx-5 / Miata / Eunos roadster mini-series consisting of 5 sprint races and 1 mini-enduro race.
3 races will be run with the NA, while each one of the remaining 3 will be run respectively in the NB, NC and TC.

The NAs will be limited to 400PP on CM tires, with a minimum weight of 950kg.
Mandatory std. brakes and 5-speed fixed transmission.
All other tuning parts allowed except turbos and SC.
Nos will be forbidden in the 2 first races but will be ALLOWED in the third while the tire compound will be raised to CS.

The NBs will be limited to 430PP on SH tires, following the rules of our unofficial Touge union.
No further tuning restrictions will apply to the NBs.

The NCs will be run at a maximum of 235hp for a mandatory 940 kg car weight on SS tires.
turbo/SC and Nos ban will be restored for this race. These regulations are actually from the Japanese enduro series Super Taikyu.

The last race featuring the Roadster Touring Car will be limited at 500PP on RH tires. Nos will be forbidden for this race. It will be a bit longer and might include some tire management/strategy.

We will run the NAs at
Toscana- 3 laps
Nordschleife - 1 lap
Trial Mountain Reverse - 4 laps with Nos on CS tires

The NBs race will take place at Bathurst for 3 laps, and the NCs will race at Matterhorn Rotenboden for 5 laps.

The TC mini-enduro race venue will be Autumn Ring. After a 5-minute qualifying round, the race itself will last for 40 minutes with very fast tire wear and fuel consumption.

Room settings will be set as:

No boost
Real Slipstream and grip reduction
No penalty*
Normal tire wear and fuel consumption*
Light damage*
Grid start with false start check
Reverse order from previous race*

*for the enduro settings will be
Very fast tire wear and fuel consumption
heavy damage
heavy penalties
fastest first

ABS and driving line will be allowed and other driving aids will be prohibited.

Would anyone be interested by taking part in this kind of event?
Please let me know, cheers...

I know it is a lazy repost but here are some pics from the test races.

The NAs are released by Goofy's TC Safety Car (kind of...)

The Touring cars are giving it a go at the Autumn Ring, Buybon, myself, and an undercover secret agent.

How you like B-Spec Jocke?
I like it, Manny. It was easy to learn and after a while I just set it on auto-pilot for the N24h (24 minutes) challenge.
Three straight wins for my Bobbette (my driver is a woman) so it's a good way to earn some extra credits while you
can go do other things, like eating hamburgers for instance.

Sure the money is considerably less than if you would do the Red Bull SC yourself, but the benefit of not having to
race yourself for half an hour outweighs that small problem in my opinion.

Er maybe. Time(s) can be a limiting factor for me and things change at the last moment quite often.

Looks interesting though. 👍

The Nissan spec-R Aero (S15) Touring Car '02 was one of my favorites from GT5. I always used to test my CM tracks with it. One of the first I bought in GT6.
The Nissan C-West Razo Silvia '01 GT300 was the one I never manged to get in GT5. The second hand dealer never had it in stock. I still haven't got it yet in GT6!

I tried the Brand Hatch 15 lap challenge once. I remember thinking that the AI were fast in it. It was about halfway through when I realised I'd picked a GT300 car and they were all in GT500's. :dopey: Still managed to finish 3rd though - I think they all pitted and I didn't!

I've not tried B-spec yet, might have a look sometime.

Some time this week, gk?
Thursday or Friday maybe.
YES !
Is Friday ok with everyone?
Will @SmileyWRX be back this week?
We might find Jimmy Hoffa before we find Smiles.

Why not try something new.
A time slot more suited for gk and we others have to adapt to him for a change.
We always race at 20:00 GMT and perhaps it's not the best time in the world for you, gk?

So let us know what the best time is for you and we can adapt like you do.

Hey guys, what about today, a bit earlier than usual M series 20:00GMT so let's say 19:00GMT?
Or we could go for it tomorrow saturday, and start at anytime between 15:00 GMT to 19:00GMt.
