If thats what the STi was to start, I would have pooped my pants in anticipation!

I'm surprised nobody has posted about seeing one in real life yet. (out on the road)

I saw one on my way to school, thought I'd drop by on my way back and check it out but it was sold already.
 
I only saw my first '08 Impreza the other day. No STIs yet.

As for the video -- no offense Kent, but I think a 2-door STI based on the styling of the real STI would look 20 times better. It would also be the coolest car Subaru has built since the 22B. Then again, if they're going to make a sporty 2-door, it would be even better if they made another Alcyone. :dopey:

Another SVX would be pretty cool though. Revive it on the Legacy platform, turbo the flat-six... sweeeet.

That two door, other than the ugly front bumper protruding, isn't too bad. I personally don't want to see a return of the double-wing, but it looks less tacked-on than the first time, heh. I like how the trunk has hints of the GC too. That and BMW.

Subaru is crazy, but not enough to build this.

I don't think the market penetration has been that great just yet. I thought that I had seen one the other day, but I wasn't sure. I've seen plenty of the regular WRXs, but even then, the older generations are far more popular around here than the new ones.

...And this being the land of the Impala and Taurus, yeah, it may be a while...
 
OMG! if Impreza 2D will be even 75% like that ( with bit less ricey front bumper ), I'd completely forget it's possible rivals. that's so hot, minust the front clip that is too busy for my liking. they even got rid of the fugly rearlights..
 
We don't know if there will even BE an Impreza 2-door. That concept in the video was made up by someone.
 
^ Subaru won't have the guts, they're under Toyota now. And they will build a Celica GT-Four first before they build anything close to that. :indiff:

People talk about this car not being real or something and I looked at the car thinking it was an actual car that will eventually be released.
I can't say what's going on but I can say that I feel a big anti-subaru sentiment flowing over from an anti-toyota pot.

I say turn the fires down and see what happens. :sly:

Yeah, I went back and looked again and found that the 2 door is being presented as a 2009 model. :confused:

Wow, that was a good job, I honestly thought it was a real video showing a 2 door. Looked a whole lot better than the 2 door photoshops from this thread. Oh well. :ouch:

Too bad too, I really thought that two door would work well as a rally car amongst other things. No biggie though, I'm still sure the normal version is an awesome car. :D
