What I meant: I had seen you volunteer for the standings, but at the same time you just left the series, so maybe it could've been a reason that BK hadn't put you down for the task.
And the F1 thing is - obviously - about how you don't like GT5. Activating KERS in GT5 isn't that effective, I would think.
 
Not really, I resigned from the series 3 days after I said I'd do the standings. I think the main reason why it wasn't noticed was because it was the last post of the page...

Well yeah, KERS is circle on F1 and that happens to be the button I probably least want to press on GT5 ;)

no................. that way half way through the race drivers 10-15 are just going to quit.... we alread learned that the hard way.

soo, im open to discussion on the other 5 races after fuji!

i liked the points system from that other le mans series i use to host...........
Probably no bonus points...

I'm kinda of screwed cause I don't have the car and the borrow glitch isn't working...Might have to show up in a 908 first race :banghead:

Actually in the 90's points only went down to 6th, points didn't go down to 8th till 2003.

@BK ok, I'll dig the old thread up. I think points for everyone is the more sensible plan. Although to be honest it shouldn't really be a technique to try and keep everyone in the race, that should be done anyway.

1st - 30 points
2nd - 25 points
3rd - 21 points
4th - 18 points
5th - 15 points
6th - 12 points
7th - 10 points
8th - 8 points
9th - 6 points
10th - 5 points
11th - 4 points
12th - 3 points
13th - 2 points
14th - 2 points
15th - 1 point
16th - 1 point
 
the US has daylights savings time starting this sunday. Our clocks move 1 hour ahead Sunday morning. I dont think BST starts for another 2 weeks.

it means, anyone not in the U.S. will be racing 1 hour earlier on the 17th untill your clocks push forward 1 hour..

also note , i put 3/11 in the OP but tomorrows race is the 10th
 
So, you have edited the numbers already. All I know is that normally there are 6 hours difference between EST and GMT, and now there are 5 in the OP. So I think you're right ;)

Its right, its suppose to be 5 hours difference. I wrote the british time wrong but the gmt was correct.


Race day tomorrow ! # laps will be posted in the A.M.
 
I regeret to announce that i will not be able to take part in the race as I can't be home at the time.
 
If Jake gets one of the Audi's he'll win for me (although I must say funny how he was convincing me all season 5 to leave the Audi only to use it himself, obviously didn't want a straight up duel ;) But hey, none of my concern anymore)

I know it sounds like a bad excuse, but this happened:

It knocks on my door, I stop the car and want to press start, but apparently I missed it. There's the neighbor saying their cat is stuck somewhere in our shack. So I had to go and unlock the shack for them so they could go in and collect it. And then it turns out it's not there, but it's walking around inside the roof. Very weird, but they got it in the end and when I came back you were on lap 16.

I hope I didn't cause an accident.

That being said, man have you made the Audi slow. I couldn't keep up with anybody, no matter how hard I pushed it. Losing the time attack by 2.5 seconds should prove a thing or two.

And lastly: can someone tell me why Paw rammed me in the quali race? I didn't turn the wheel on the long straight, that's for sure.
 
hmmm, maybe i made the '01 audi tooooo slow. I mean that was the point, but maybe it was a bit much.

Paw why did you fall out of line on the pace lap in the last corner, you slowed the rest of us down so much at the line MU & Tom already had a 4 second lead..........
