I am back after a day break and 🤬 There has been alot of posts!

Didn't they already say something along those lines during the conversation between the lieutenant and captain? It may not have been directly stated, but I'm fairly sure there was a conversation that strongly implied it.

Most of it was directly stated, albeit in a roundabout way. If you read the conversation between the two when they were setting up camp, the conversation when they were both in prison and the flashback at the beginning of Chapter 9, you get the whole picture of The Lieutenant's story as well as some heavy implications of how The Captain fit into it.

Spitfire joined the Shadowbolts to help people. When her daughter died in the riots, she did the first thing she could think of to try to minimize similar suffering, and the Shadowbolts were the closest thing to order than Equestria had. Captain Dash found Spitfire, took her under her wing and kept her from the "bad" stuff (and the implication I got from that was that Captain Dash carried Spitfire's sins and did the "bad" stuff for both of them).
In fact, I think the most tragic irony is that Soaren's role in the events leading up to Spitfire's death all stemmed back to this exact same incident. Spitfire joined the Shadowbolts because she was inspired by Soaren during the riots, and Soaren played his part in condemning Spitfire to death because he was inspired by Spitfire during the riots.



And, speaking in literary terms, Spitfire's idealism is the exact reason that she had to die to prove a point (though her relationship to Captain Dash, Soaren and even Rainbow Dash were all nearly as important in regards to how her death would drive the story). This is a world where such concepts of hope don't exist, can't exist (even Rainbow Dash has given up on most of them), and if I had caught the hints dropped when they were setting up camp like I should have I would have seen what was coming even faster than I did.
For that reason, it was during the conversation between Spitfire and Captain Dash early in the chapter that I figured out exactly what was going to happen, and that was the exact part of Chapter 8 where my hands started shaking.

Needless to say, Chapter 11 is going to be an incredibly intense piece to read.

Fan fiction based on romance of at least one character from the show with someone else, basically. You may have heard of shipping fics referred to as "slash fics" before, which are generally the same thing only with pairings of the same gender (and MLP being what it is, it is actually the more accurate term to use most of the time).

With that in mind, it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to understand why I'm wary of leaving that category there. And I'm probably going to remove it anyways.
Partly because I generally loathe straight shipping fics anyways, but more importantly because all of the fics that I've read with shipping elements that I would suggest others read merely use it as a means to an end, so they generally fit more as dramas or comedies then genuine shipping (for example, The Ballad of Twilight Sparkle uses shipping undertones almost entirely as a means to create humor rather than serious plot advancement, the Psychological Pony Series uses shipping undertones simply to build drama between certain characters more than others, and A Twilight and Trixie Story uses blatant shipping purely as a means for parody).

Happy day for me!
First of all. The weather was all random! the morning was a cool +10C when I went to work. The sky was gloomy and the air moved fast (wind). "Sleeping" on the job I noticed how the temperature raised inside the compound. Anyways, after 12 hours of work it was time to go home. And I was shocked to find out that the outside temperature is now +30C! with clear sky and a brown smog on the horizon xD

I had some free time on the job too...

And when I got home i found this in my post box!

That means my Brony mug is here! And I can pick it up at the day after tomorrow.

Also. I made an art trade at the Devianart (?) website a couple of days ago. And here what i got in return!

The first comments almost broke my ribs from laughing!

Someone needs to do another RainbowDash mustang, only this time using this.

I've always know it looked good from games and pictures, but one took off next to me at a light and I have never seen anything so amazing. Nothing compares to seeing it in person. If I could find a RD Photoshop of this car in higher resolution, I would set it as my phone wallpaper in a heart beat0.




Also, I just realized how appropriate the name Mach 1 would be if it were a Rainbow Dash version.

I was thinking more along the lines of a Rainbow Dash Zonda R, because you know, Paganis are 20% cooler (and faster) than Ford Mustangs.


But that could work too.
