So...
it's been a while since I've been here.
Regardless I drew a thing and thought I'd share it.
It's my first pencil drawn picture with a background, so keep that in mind.

I'm no Valter, but I think it's alright.
Thoughts?

It's better than alright. Needs a bit more work on the Pony, but the background looks nice. Remember that Ponies have small cheeks, so place the eye lower next time.

I think Valt covered it. For a first piece there's very little to critique, other than slight proportion tweaks. Great work overall, though.

I think the line along the front of the rear leg (just infront of her Cutie Mark) comes up and curves a little to far, plus the snout and mouth could do with some work, but there's hardly anything wrong with it really. Again, no complaints about the background, plus for a first attempt you did great.

Wow, I like the reflection on the goggles. And the animation is well done. Not sure about the face, but it does look impressive!

Tough decision to make, do I paint my Xbox in Applejack, or Rainbow Dash colours?

I even thought about doing Twilight's design on it, I can't choose between them.

Well, you like AJ more than any other pony right? So the choice sounds like a simple one.

And I'm guessing the one you have is the old design 360?

Well that's the thing, I thought that it would be an easy choice for the reason that you said, but the more I think about it, the more I realize that Dash and 'Twi are VERY close behind her. So I think what my brain was trying to tell me isin't what design to put on it, but instead, it was asking who my favourite pony is.

And I have the new slim version, I realize that it would be a lot harder to take apart, but it should still be possible to disassemble it, and paint it.

(And I was originally going to paint the controller, but then I found out that the paint wears off very quickly, so that's out.)

Yeah, it would have been easier to use the old version. If you're not happy with your first choice then maybe you can just go over it again with a different paint colour.

I would want to have something a bit more complicated than just a colour/mane design, but I don't know how I would go about getting vectors onto the case.

Looking through "Xbox mlp" on google, I find one that Logan posted last March on a sonic forum.

It's blocked by default and has been for a couple of months. Probably because it almost always contained graphic content (both the images and the fics) that most people filtered anyway, but a quite a few people didn't want to see any of it, especially when it's spammed to death sometimes and people tend to tag them incorrectly (or not at all).

They were going to ban it altogether if I recall, but they just stuck with the filters instead.
