Overall I like this, the dress looks fantastic on a person, but something about Twilight's face......

I'm just not sure.

That reminds me a lot of the boot images of The Ballad of TwiGay Tony, Twilight's attributes are quite bigger than usual, and I really do want to see that Celestia.

And I don't understand the hate against Prince Blueblood, seems like if he was Hitler pony or something, no one likes him, but people actually hate him instead of not minding him. A story between BigMac and Prince could work, however the fandoom will not accept such a thing.

I don't actually completely understand it either (I have a pretty good idea, though), but at the same time that doesn't mean that I don't think it is fine to go with the flow.

And on the subject, I'd actually like to see a story where Blue Blood is pretty much subjected to everything the "common ponies" are subject to. And then he eventually starts to regret his actions and maybe at some point he becomes a good pony instead of a royal(in this case literally) douche.

An Emperor's New Groove style adventure featuring Big Mac and Prince Douche could, given a very generous amount of writing talent, work out alright.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, but I actually said "What the hay!" right in front of my dad earlier when he dropped something behind me. So with him not being a Brony and all, that was funny.


Also, for some reason my tolerance for fan-made content is dropping. I've noticed things that normally wouldn't bother me are now getting to me pretty easily. Well, it has been a while since I watched the show itself, which I'm not happy about. Maybe I'll just go one a FiM spree tomorrow.

And when I'm done that, I'll read a few of those "Normal" fics from the recommendation list.

Yes, and actually it needs very good talent, specially to pick up the appropriate events, but more importantly a correct characterization of Prince Douche, there is where you find the real challenge, a challenge that very few writers are willing to accept.

Now that I think about it, I'm reasonably sure I can actually explain this, but I'm currently having trouble trimming an absolutely massive comment on ED down to a size that fits under the character restrictions (I have to pull about 500 characters from it somehow).

So, tomorrow I'll get to it when my mind isn't absolutely full of AppleDash like it is now.

There was actually one where he was shipped with Trixie.

And while I absolutely loathe the interpretation of her character that the author used to get the story done, I must admit that the story did work quite well if you are willing to ignore that.





It was actually a sequel to a pretty good Prince Douche story, and I think he was pretty well-written in both of them. I'll have to check to see what it was called.

And when I'm done that, I'll read a few of those "Normal" fics from the recommendation list.

Keep in mind that I haven't been updating the one on GTP anymore, because it is so much easier for me to update the GoogleDocs version.

Also, in regards to the Blueblood discussion above, I actually jsut reviewed a fic about him earlier tonight. Seth's gonna post it tomorrow, it's called "Dear Idiot" I believe, and it's worth a read if you like cynical wit.

I misspelled 'cynical' as 'cynnical', and the spelling suggestions were 'cynical' and 'tyrannical'. This is funny to my sleep deprived mind because the fic is written from Celestia's point of view.

Welp, lost most of my lunch time to a meeting with the bossman; apparently, one of the clerks messed up an invoice, so of course, we all get a nice talking-to.

Try losing your entire day! I went into work at 9AM, found out that the phone system was still deactivated (no phone system, no work), and on top of that, no one has been given their monthly wages yet. This resulted in my boss venting his frustration towards every employee in the office, and well, tempers soon became flared. So by 10:30, pretty much everyone was given the rest of the day off.

Oh, and there's this whole thing about my debit card getting trapped in a cash machine as I was making a cash withdrawal after I left work. This resulted in my bank account getting....overhauled, which was partly due to some issues I had with my old account, it's all rather complicated really. Hopefully it will be sorted out by next week.

I also decided to get Deus Ex: Human Revolution while I had the chance, so I'll be shooting my way through that this weekend.

Agreed, and your view of Prince Douche is pretty much the same as mine. I certainly hate him, but I wouldn't take the hate as far as some other bronies have.

Sounds interesting. I've yet to read any fic which includes Blueblood (although from what I've heard, he does feature in part 4 of The Vinyl Scratch Tapes). I might read "Dear Idiot" once it's uploaded, as I do like a bit of cynical wit myself.

Seriously, the first person that came to mind in relation to celebrities lending their voices to MLP characters was Brian Blessed. Can you imagine hearing a Pony with his voice?

Also, I'm ashamed to admit this, but it'd been almost a whole month since I just sat down and watched a episode of the show. While I was kind of disappointed in myself for that, I will say that I now love the show so much more than I use to. I loved the show before, but after taking that much time off it just feels so great to watch it again.

Also, I think Look Before You Sleep might be my favorite episode. Just because it involves lots and lots of Twilight being really, really adorable.

It's been longer than a month for me. Actually probably even 2 months.
Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but am not the kind of person that would watch something multiple times in a short time span. I should find time to watch them too, with the impending start of season 2 soon.
