So I went ahead and rewatched the pilot episode last night just to see what people are hating on. I was oddly amused and can't understand the hate against it. I feel like I need to watch more episodes for some reason.

Anti-Bronies have stated many times that their hate isn't aimed directly at the actual show itself, but the Brony fandom instead. Still, I can't see how they can hate us for enjoying a show they don't watch. I also advise you to watch more than just the pilot episodes (they aren't considered the best really).

This past week and the one before have been all kinds of busy and hectic for me, and I haven't had a moment's rest since Celestia-knows-when. That's the reason most of my posts have been short, and why I haven't posted since page 824. You'd think the lot of you are competing to be Dash's pet, the way you guys rack up the thread pages.

Anyways, the things keeping me offline have been both bad (small car accident!) and good (more photoshoots, that should make CoffeeGrunt happy!); let's see if I can get back some semblance of normalcy this week.

First order of business, I don't watch car races, or know that much about cars, yet through some sort of strange sequence of coincidences, I actually know enough about Kimi Raikkonen to get the joke

Also, got me sum Zelda Skyward Sword; let's see how I make time for that, considering I haven't touched Sonic Generations or Battlefield 3 in a long while because of all the stuff I have already keeping me busy.

On to the episode:

• Awesome song is awesome.
• How long has Fluttershy been waiting for Rainbow Dash to ask her for an animal? I think fantasizing about that has probably kept her up at night more than once.
• Twilight not qualifying to be Rainbow Dash's pet has got to be one of the most exploitable lines I've seen yet, to the point where I immediately wanted to draw something related to it.
• The contests were pure gold. The falcon in the top hat doing card tricks has got to be one of the most hilarious things ever.
• Rock avalanche? Pfff. Indestructible Dash is Indestructible. Seriously, the next Iron Pony contest should consist of AJ and RD being sent into low earth orbit to see who can hold her breath the longest. While going through reentry. And doing card tricks in top hats.
• How bad is it that upon seeing the AH-1Z Huey Tortoise, the first thing that came to my mind was, "Needs a tail rotor or a contra-rotating second main rotor to stay aloft and in control."?

Would Cowboy Universe Applejack not wear a hat, or would she simply wear a different kind of hat?

I can't help but be reminded of that "Raikkonen's Mood States" image compilation. I love the picture choice for his "Laughing attempt"

Now that you've mentioned it... you are right, I made a mistake. Should have checked Guilmon's size twice. Man, I don't remember when was the last time I watched that show.
