I can complete certain game within 30 minutes.

I'd rather lose my job for standing up for myself then get walked all over.

Not saying that he shouldn't have said anything. There are ways of standing up for yourself in a manner that lets the other party knows that you aren't going to be steamrolled. But still allow the other person to get a sense of respect from you (however little) that wouldn't lead to them losing a job.

Its called "reading a situation and making the best of it".

Not: "Lets offend the person who controls my wages because she's a dumb idiot and doesn't know any better and see if I get fired!".

Basically, if the guy has done what he said, I am not surprised that the HR Manager would have felt significantly belittled and would have made his life harder. Managers can be bitchy at times.

I did a non-stop 24 hour race on GT5. That's probably the best thing I've ever done (on purpose). I did snap my arm at a ~40 angle playing football last year though, that's got to be worth something :p

This is all I can think of at the moment, but I was able to recognise every national flag and name every country in the world when I was 6 years old. I even have a diploma to verify it.

Oh yea? I can top all of you! i DID wear my sisters underwear! actually... to be honest... i did not.

I only went to a She Wants Revenge concert and got to meet the band because my 2 friends were smoking and we were up front (a few feet away, if that) and the lead singer asked them to not smoke as it was bthering his sinuses and thanks and then after the show come find me! so we all did... i got autographs!

I'm in total agreement with proth on this one. There are certain people in this world that would rather cut their noses off to spite their faces just for the sake of being right. It's a matter of personal pride and iron will. Some people have it some people don't end of story.

That's ridiculous, you had better be playing football!

Which kind? Note that I'm from America .

Oh I didn't see that but yes I was talking about the American kind.

Do you play any sports because being 6'6 at 15 years old puts you at an advantage IMO.

Yep, I play basketball as I mentioned earlier, and I play lacrosse, which I play more since basketball coaches tend to hate me because I'm a lanky white kid who can't jump :). But lacrosse is predominantly a white kid sport, so I fit right in 👍. And I don't fit in any positions in football. Too slow to play safety, too skinny to play on either line, and didn't have the right coaching to learn technique to play a skill position.

Oh well that's still good that you play something to take advantage of your height. I'd try and stack a few pounds on so I could play football if I was that tall but it's whatever you like to do. :)

I'm only 5'10 and i'm 16 years old.

That's pretty normal around here. At least you can drive (if the rules are the same as here), I still have to wait five months and look at my car everyday :grumpy:.

Well I have to drive my mom's Honda Accord '10 around which I don't like doing but I have to buy my own car all by myself. I'm saving up quite a bit to buy a half decent car, i'd rather delay on the driving for a nice used car than buying a beat up one right now just to say I drive my own car.

All in all your lucky you have a car waiting for you. ;)

What kind of car is it?

BMW X3 :sly: I'm an only child, and I do really well in school so I persuaded my parents to fork up. It's pretty old ('04, very first model of that car made) so it wasn't outrageously expensive.

That's a good car to haul around all your buddies in for sure! I'm an only child as well but there's some issues with certain people that created me if ya know what I mean, so that's why i'm getting no help. :sly:

Yeah I understand.

I hope to be picking up an old non-abused Civic, Volvo, or Audi just to name a few sometime in the near future. 👍

When I was 2 years old, I fell about 20 feet off of a second story deck. Didn't break a bone, had only a bruise or two, no cuts.

Also, I'm 6'4" and 15 years old

CAM and C_C, take the chatting to PM's, please.

I'll say it once again you had better be playing football!

Nice to see someone else from Houston on GTPlanet! 👍

I suppose everything is bigger in Texas? Except me, because I'm from North Carolina.

Crazedcoupe, my mom has a Volvo, its actually pretty fun to drive when you get over the fact that you're in a stationwagon. So I would try a Volvo sedan or the Audi :).

EDIT: Sorry TB, I didn't see that before I posted. Total accident.

I play D-Line in football and Goalie for soccer, so I use the height to advantage!

Alright, Houston! How about them Astros? :sly:
