Things haven't gone as I planned over the past couple of weeks and with the interest once again waning in the Community Spotlight I have no choice but to hang it up and leave things to those that can attract one's attention and maintain that attention as I'm clearly not doing a good enough job at it.

I thought getting the community involved in something like this would be a fantastic undertaking, but alas it just wasn't meant to be, so effective immediately I'm relinquishing all of my columnist duties to those more fitting and the Community Spotlight will be taken over by whomever wants to do so.

Sorry I can't 'like' this post. You do such a fine job, but, yes, I can understand how much work goes into it. It will have to fall upon another mod. Can't let regular members into the News Section - they'll wreck it with wish lists, whining, and split infinitives.
 
This is an April Fools Day joke, right T-12?

If it's not, don't let regular members take your place, they'll fill it up with awful memes, and use words like "banter" every three sentences. I think the page gets a lot more attention than you realize too, because people who read it don't necessarily say anything or contribute, they just read. But if you feel you shouldn't do it anymore, that's your call.
 
Wild announcements are rarely sound around this time of the year.

:lol: I was partially fooled (more so saying something in the case that it actually wasn't), so this is still relevant as a title...

 
I hope this is a joke. I like reading the community spotlight. I just don't comment and I'm not the best at photographing in GT6.
