Well we got trucks in GT4, and the same in GT5, but Don't you think there's some that PD left out, that should be put in ? And try to be serious, no Monster trucks or stupid things like that. Here's just a few i can think of
GMC Syclone/Typhoon
Ford Raptor
1971 Chevy El Camino
Toyota Hilux
Dodge Ram SRT10

On one hand i would say having trucks in GT5 is pointless and has no use, but on the other hand fk me are they a hoot to drive!

Holden's HSV Maloo? V8 425hp beast, can't believe GT5 didn't include one of the fastest utes available. Beats the Dodge Ram SRT10 in terms of raw speed too.

Yes, the Holden HSV, forgot all about it. And bassically any Ute, wouldn't mind some older ones either.

And we have the right to trucks, Premium Trucks even, cause PD modeled the Prius, Insight, IEV whatever, and 2 of the same Cappuccinos. I think we deserve a Premium Syclone/Holden HSV for that bull.

I would agree on the Typhoon. It defies the standard Big 3 logic of "big truck and bigger engine". Was a nice little piece of engineering. Kind of a stark contrast to Chevy's SS454 truck of the same era.

I'll probably catch hell for expressing a contrary opinion, but you asked the question. My opinion is that the only good use for a truck, is to pull my race car.

Honestly why would you want to drive any of those slow, overgrown, ridiculous looking pieces of cr#p when you could be driving a Ferrari or Lamborghini or anything else for that matter?

Fixed it for you =]

You seriously can't remove the Midget from this game, it's too much of a staple to the series.

Seriously, how can someone NOT like this truck?

It's usually from driving a bit of verity, and personally, I'm not going to be one of those guys online who drives the same car as everyone else online.

Please search before you look like a tool.
And racing trucks is a completely different experience than cars, and it would add a much deeper variety to races.
Besides, there's 2 types of people, Supercar lovers, then Jalops.

IF they were going to includes trucks i'd like to see DAF, Volvo and Merc Benz's trucks from european truck racing too!

That is one of the best pictures I have ever seen... A gold chrome Midget? Touche 👍

I understand that trucks would add variety, but we've already seen what happens when PD try to add more variety...

Some Aussie utes would be cool though, even if they are basically just a car with no rear seats

^^this in everything:)

But why? It's a sweet truck. More useful than the tank car too :P

Monster trucks are sweet too, we sure need those don't we?
Trucks generally don't fit the GT vibe if you ask me. The selection they have is questionable. If they were to add a Ram, why did they do a big quad cab? The SRT 10 would have made sense. If this game really needed more trucks, I'd say the Maloo, SRT10, and an old F100 or 50s Chevy.

they need some large diesel trucks. a 6.6 duramax 2500 or something like that. those things can easily be tuned into beasts!
