Maybe after few mods,but this time i don't have a chance :D

UPDATE

Got the flywheel fitted and now got under the 1.45 I was aiming for, new best lap time of 1.44:573, still some time left in that as well.

However I've just reached the point tonight in which I screw up at some point on almost every lap, guess I'm just too tired to put good ones together.

Too much beer & Food round my mates BBQ earlier, well thats my excuse anyway.

May get a few more laps in tonight, but I can't see anything much coming of it at present.

Regards

Scaff

UPDATED UPDATE

Gave myself another five laps before heading off to bed - new best lap 1.43:623, now I can sleep happy. Still a bit more in the lap, the question now is can I get to it?

Hi all,

I just got chance to run my 3 cars for a few laps each to test the water a bit...

Did about 6-7 laps in each to do some basic suspension setting.

Clio Renaultsport 172

Sports suspension
Sports exhaust
Rigidity increase
large single clutch
Oil change for 185bhp

Lap time = 1'35.698 (Goal <1'35.000)

Renault 5 Turbo

Stage 1 turbo
Racing flywheel
large single clutch
sports suspension + exhaust
rigidity increase
oil change for 210bhp

Lap time = 1'32.114 (Goal <1'30.000)

Alfa Romeo Giulia sprint

Sports suspension + exhaust
rigidity increase
large single clutch
oil change for 123bhp

Lap time = 1'40.602 (Goal <1'40.000)

Missed the race flywheel allowed on any car so will add that to the Clio and Alfa later. Great fun running these, hope the mods and specs are correct, if not let me know and will re run them.

cheers

David

UPDATE FOR SKYLINE:
I was focusing to beat boogieman's time With LanEvo II,i managed to get
1'33.874 with the Skyline and i'm so happy :D:D:D

Update: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution ll GSR '94

1'33.901 :irked: Aaaargh!! so close . . but . . there are still plenty of corners to improve . .
edit:
1'33.772 :D . . hey abarth . . it's your turn . . I think 1'33.200 should be possible for me . . I'm trying

Hey Eddie, I just thought of something. What about adding a couple of motorcycle classes? :D

:boggled: but but but but but, I haven't got TT yeeeeheheheheeeeet!!!! (in w whingy whiny voice)

It isn't realeased here yet as far as I know.

But anyway, good to see some quick times coming in, I will have to put some more testing into my monaro, and start building my Bluebird up!

Boogieman and abarth, your knocking on my heels here, I might have to do something about that to salvage the reputation of aussie cars!

Ebiggs, how's that GTO coming along?

Dave that renault 5 turbo is stupid fast! Might have to get me one of those! I'm struggling to break the 1'32 barrier (1'33.074)

edit - Ed, I wanna catch that Caterham! Not likely, but I'm going to try! I think Holden is the most likely at the moment, if he can get the RS6 to turn

good show 180sx! we are starting to get some distinct packs forming

I'll officialy submit my times once I finish them all and get the specs and pictures done, but right now my Ginetta with stage 1 turbo and allowed mods is running in fifth place overall with 144hp and 454kg.

Update:

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution ll GSR '94
1'33.460 :D :D :D . . . I'm getting there . .

Mitsubishi Lancer EX 1800GSR IC Turbo '83
1'37.841 . . this car is a blast! :D

C'mon share some times with us mate! . so we can chase you down :D

They'll be up in an hour or two.

Edit: Lets just say the Ginetta is running 1'33 and the GNX will be around 1'29.7 if I can pull a good lap off. I haven't tried the GTO yet.

:scared: . . I just saw . . 5th place overall with the Ginetta? . . oh oh . . that's faster than me in my little red Evo . .

We'll see each other again at Tsukuba Wet . . :trouble:

I wish that the GNX didn't have a four speed. I'm getting lucky here at Suzuka. I have a ton of torque to pull out of corners around 2500rpm in second, hit third at 80, and come right up to about 130mph at the end of third right before 130R. The rev limiter is probably at about 132. Fourth gear is super overdrive...Drops me from 8000 redline to probably 4500. That's going to kill me at Nurb, even with 400lb.ft.

well we can work out a ballpark time for him, and chase that down!

<edit> oops! that'll teach me for not refreshing before posting!

at least you have a long last gear for the long straight . . . I guess all my cars are gonna scream for an overdrive when they are in the rev limiter all the way on the straight . . :scared:

but I'll worry about that later . . I just saw:
Dave_George
Alfa Romeo Giulia sprint

1'40.602

:ouch: beaten by a italian rust bucket . .. .

I'm not going to enjoy the nurb in my big yellow boat (or should that be yellow submarine), it's too big and heavy, and is going to HATE the straight! I'm thinking of bringing along an AC Cobra

he wont get too far away :sly: if he does ill set the alsatian thats in the boot on him

just wondering if you dont like the sports suspension are you allowed to revert back to standard suspension?

Nice S4, Holden! Out of curiousity, why did you get the sport clutch? I think that handling and power modifications are going to be the most important in this series.

I'm going to say that you can switch back. After all, it should make the car slower.

ah well, I love the AC, it's a fun car to drive, and the Zonda is just a blast!

That 427 is illegal. No superchargers are allowed.

Edit: Eddie, could we possibly use a fourth car? I'm itching to hop in an S7.
