Wings are legal, guys, and also the Proton Spirra is promoted to the Millionaire's Division.

Oh, and Holden, I just put in a 1'31.720" :p Still 2/10ths to find, I'm sure...

Time post (in my sig) updated with final times.

The GTO surprises me every time I drive it. It actually has a good gearbox with well spaced gears. I guess I'm forgetting that its an Aussie car though. Most American sport coupes have really wide gears, such as my GNX...automatic even...

So my current mods are: (oil change, roll cage, and refresher for all cars)

Ginetta - Stage 2 turbo (LSD coming next round most likely)
GNX - Stage 2 weight reduction (LSD or wing next round)
GTO - Stage 1 weight reduction, wing (worked wonders!)

Notice that everything for next round has traction in mind. :scared:

How about a no driving aids rule for next round?

Joking aside, Holden, (good lap BTW 👍) I think you'd benefit from no aids, and remember you have 2 4WD cars that'll walk it. On top of which, the old Quattro can easily take a power hike and still be driveable. Personally, I won't be using them, but then, I hardly ever do. Try an LSD instead. Even the basic one's worth having...

thinking of a stage 2 for the quattro :D

LSD isnt a problem in the M5 as it already has one :) ,its just getting the power from the wheels to the track.
In the dry the M5 wheelspins in second, hense why the lowest gear i used at seca was 3rd(didnt touch first or second) and when i did a test run on tsukuba wet i just put it in 1st floored it to the redline, wheels spun,in to second and so on and it just spun the rear wheels all the way to the redline in 7th :D although was only doing 78mph  so traction control might be on fully :p need to wait till tomorrow and see :)

I think I've spotted the problem....:dopey:

Part throttle :)

Boogieman
a little less throttle? . . it's a pedal you know . . not a on/off switch!
quite abit of it was done not at full throttle :p and the problem with GT4 is most cars have to be a 3/4 throttle to get any revs and speed out of the car.

ill have a play with some settings tomorrow though ;)

wooohaaa . . . that's just fun fun fun!!

first few laps brought a 1'16 something for my lil red evo . . . lots of nice all wheel drifting . . rain is awesome!!👍

edit: and a 1'20 something with the 80's lancer . . I thought that this would be a bad car for this course . . but nope . . much fun . . this course shows a good handling car like no other!
and again to the RWD car traction probs . . just shift early . . sitting in the rev limiter doesn't get you traction . .

 hehehe. These time sheets are going to be upside down! My first lap in the Ruf was a 1'15, although I've got it down to a 1'11 now. Can't wait to go out in the Pug! That's a drift whore at this track!

Holden: I know that my driving suffers from being too heavy with the controls, take this as an opportunity to learn.

Driving aids are banned at Tsukuba. If you are having real problems, talk to me after Wednesday.

I did a couple of laps with traction control on 1, and it was ridiculously easy; it made coming here in the wet rather pointless. When I went out in the Caterham last week, I did most of the lap in 3rd (which, with the tall gearing, is like 4th in any other car).

And Holden: don't worry, your lap times willl soon come down. :)

Times in the first post are those that will be used for final results. Please PM me asap if any are wrong. Thankyou.

Driving Aids are banned at Tsukuba,, that should be interesting,, my Toyota 2000 Gt will fly all over the place:),, Luckily I brought some extra money for repairs;),, And the shoes of Holden are 500 bucks a pair:crazy: Can't afford that if I crash my Toyota or Acura:(

Times

Pagani Zonda C12S - 1'19.463 (with 1 way LSD at tsukuba wet mod)

Holden Monaro CV8 - 1'20.311 (also with 1-way LSD)
No real traction problems with this one! Hasn't got big enough balls!

AC Cars 427 - 1'20.636 (again, with 1-way LSD)
One word......FUN!!!

*works out plan to kidnap eddies teddy and hold it to ransom*💡

You won't find it - I threw it out of the pram in California!:dopey:

Points and times for Laguna now in first post.

Hey just a question, I am having some serious problems getting power down in the Zonda, i can't use any more than about 1/3rd throttle in any gear. My question is, am i allowed to remove a mod and then put it back on next round as if I never removed it?

-edit-

The mod I want to remove is NA tune-up Stage 1

aim is to try and get the M5 into the 1:10's (main word being try:lol:) and i have a feeling the audi can go quite abit faster. :)

I am hoping that i can remove the mod, as I just put in a 1'14.424 without it, as it is easier to get less power to the ground

I think it would benefit most of us, but it doesn't seem very realistic, somehow. I've deliberately been holding back on the tuning because I knew this was coming.

Turbos I don't have a problem with, as you can "turn down the boost", but equally, isn't there a "400 bhp button" on the M5? so you can easily turn down the juice?

I think allow it, What do people think?

in real life the car has it but in GT4 it doesnt :p

Put it this way, how hard is it to swap a cam? Not very hard! Re-map a computer? Even easier.

What I am saying, is that it is fairly easy to de-tune an engine, with different intakes, chips, cams, carbs, etc.

I don't know, but I think it should be allowed, but it's all good if it's not, i will live with it, and adjust accordingly.
