Kenny, nice job man, I wish I would have remembered that tonight was the deadline. Last night my time was 12.675, your time was .693, I thought I had two more days and didn't think you'd improve your time so much, I saw your post and in 20 minutes of crazy tuning managed to get 12.630.

I would like to see your settings to see if I was in the right direction, cause that's a very nice time man. It's my fault for not remembering the deadline was today. :scared:


Enough with my excuses though, great battle Kenny, and great time, very well deserved....I almost want to see if I can beat that just for the hell of it.

Anyways, congrats to all of yeh......I'm very dissapointed to be out of this one, but there's always next time, speaking of which, will there be another one running soon after this?

Great job everyone - results are up.

Here's my settings.

I use the Cooper S and did no hp increases except an oil change, yielding 168 hp in the tuning screen box.

Obviously I put on R5 tires, did weight reduction stage 3, 100 shot of Nitrous, did the body stiffener, triple plate clutch, racing flywheel...

Racing suspension settings:
Springs 13.4/4.4 (this really didn't matter much)
Ride height 92/168
Shock Bound 10/1 Rebound 1/10
Camber 0/10
Toe 4/-4 (??? but it worked)
Stabilizers 4/4

Racing transmission settings:
4.527/2.958/2.322/1.840/1.630/1.358/2.524 final/Auto 5.

Driving Aids 0/0/7

30 lbs downforce on the front.

LSD 60/60 (didn't do much at all)

Weight 1 lb at -50

Now that I've been bundled out of the tournament I'm taking this time to restart GT4 from scratch. I hope we run another one of these things in the future.
 
Hmm... I ran in the mini ONE. Stock Tranny, TCS at 7, same suspension as Kenny except I had 0.0/0.0 camber and max height in the front, minimum in the back. Hey, it was only 1 run too ehh hahaha >_<
 
My setup...after seeing Kenny's...some parts are embarassing :dunce:

Used the Cooper S...no oil change

HP Modification: Racing Exhaust to bring HP to 171

Other Mods: R5 tires, Weight Red 3, 100 shot of Nitrous, Triple plate clutch, racing flywheel, custom tranny, suspension and limited-slip,

Racing suspension (virtually untouched, cuz I didn't know what I was doing...only thing changed...ride height)
Ride Height: 110 front and back....

Racing Tranny settings:
Set Auto to 13, slide Final over to 2.000
3.836/2.600/1.906/1.464/1.179/0.995

Driving Aids: 10/10/7

30 lbs of downforce on front and back

LSD - didn't touch, whatever default is
 
Congrats :) I used the Cooper '02, not the S version.
