SrRd, Could you clarify where your words come from? Is this your interpretation of the japanese?

This is an idea I have come up with using the numbers we've been given and what makes sense.

1. All 1,000 car have damage (in some fashion damage will be expressed)
2. All the vehicles have the cockpit (interior) view (every car can be viewed from the interior view)
3. 170 vehicles have damage reflected graphically in the external AND in the cockpit view. (most likely the WRC and NASCAR will sport inside and outside damage with the ability to view it from the inside and outside views)
4. 830 vehicles have damage reflected graphically in the external view only (the GT4 cars+ new GT5 production cars will not support damage visible inside the car)

i dont know why people are so sad. 170 cars with interior view is still a large amount, im just happy with the new features and will look forward to tuning a supra to 600hp and comparing it to my cousins :p
Forza3 has 400 interiors, developed in 2 years. And from the 170 we already have ~ 75.
Forza3 has 100 layouts, GT5 60.
These are the numbers, but a game is more than numbers...

The cars will all look the same (in terms of graphical quality, they'll be different looking obviously!), it just means they've been able to transfer some/all of the code from the GT4 cars.

Thank you! Now I just hope all have interiors and exterior damage. Even though only 170 have damage that can be seen from the interior. Also will GT4 data be able to be transferred like it was for GT3-GT4?

Sorry if this has been mentioned but, I'm preety pshyed about that Youtube feature. This COULD mean that I'll finally have some videos on my Youtube profile!

Sorry if I went too far off topic. I wont do it again. :(

No-one has an answer for that, but we've seen several cars from GT4 modelled in GT5P and they've looked like GT5P models. It's almost unimaginable that we'll get GT4-grade car models.

I shall also add that there's (a time period which I'm not allowed to say) until the game is released. There's more to come (and there might even be things taken out). If this is final, I'll eat Strittan.

Let me try again to explain. Have the GT4 cars been re-done and updated so they look like the other 170 cars in GT5. Or will they still be in GT4 graphics in GT5. Thanks.

There's way too many people in this thread stating their impressions as fact, but I am 100% sure they will be graphically up to the standard.

Very much doubt it given the change from PS2 to PS3.

Somewhere in one of those translations, I saw Dolby Digital 7.1. That's new, correct? We only have 5.1 for Prologue?

BTW how long has europe not had a dedicated GT5 / GT5P website? i get forwarded to the playstation website with its poor information
