Well, they keep showing the same Countach. It wouldn't surprise me if it's the only lambo in the game.

YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THERE WILL BE MORE! haha. Repeat over and over "I think there will, I think there will, I think there will." Then, click your heels three times. Poof.:dopey:

Well, they keep showing the same Countach. It wouldn't surprise me if it's the only lambo in the game. After 4 versions of the game, I've pretty much given up any expectation of my favorite cars ever being included in GT (except the RX-8), even though they're many other racing games. It wouldn't be nearly as frustrating if they would give some sort of explanation.
Well considering how the screenshots on the front are the first actual screens with Lambo in it I think there will be more.

Seriously, I'm eating all this rumors about new GT for 4 years and still no sign of release date.

Want a cookie? You aren't special, we've all been waiting for it and we aren't going negative, especially on a day like today where we get new info, so don't bring that crap here.

170 cars with interior and damage and 830 with nothing

I'm afraid you're right (gut feeling) :guilty:

The more I think about it, the more I feel that if all the 1000 cars had damage and interior view, PD would just have said 1000 cars with damage and interior view and not give us the confusing “170 premium and 830 standard model blablabla” talk.

I hope I’m wrong.

Right so this guy is 100% when it comes to translations so what the website says he has translated.

What I do not understand is the GT4 models going into GT5, surelt PD had to model the cars all over again? Cockpit video for 170 cars is pathetic being perfectly honest. As I said this translation is 100% correct so what has be written was up on the PD website.

colour me disappointed

It just sounds wrong, PD did not spend all these years to upscale GT4 models and smoke crack in between. Until the english website updates my confusion shall remain.

I am hoping that this is just a GamesCom Spec.
Not the final game. Makes sense. 20 tracks, 170 cars...and older cars to enjoy the new phsycs model.

He didn't say GT4 standards !

I don't think that datas from those cars changed between GT4's release and now so they're still accurate why bother recollecting them (apart of interiors)

Do you seriously think they would bring 5000 polygons cars after what we got in Prologue ?

This doesn't make any sense,so I'll just stop here and wait for tomorrow and Kaz's confirmations !

So it's not that all 1000 cars have exterior damage, cock-pit camera, and 170 of those cars also have cock-pit camera damage?
Like, 170 'premium' cars with in- and exterial damage + cock-pit, and the other 830 cars have everything except cock-pit view damage?

So we've got two definitions of the 170 "premium" cars:

170 cars with INTERIOR DAMAGE (damage affecting/visible inside the car), the rest, presumably with interior view, and maybe external damage?

170 cars with damage enabled and the cockpit view. 830 cars without the cockpit view OR damage.

Considering that we've seen the interiors of all Ferrari's road cars so far, and many other non-racing cars in Prologue, they would all fall in the category of "premium", if you go by the second definition. That leads me to believe the first might be correct, which would be great. : D

No I don't because they would look terrible compared to the premier models. Listen I read Japanese and have read the article multiple times however the wording is very tricky. What I understand is the same as the guy at andriasang but it just does not make sense!

Never been confused when the details are in front of me. Just 20 tracks in the whole game simply sound too little. I hate being out of the loop here and am curious about why GT5 was pulled from the press conference.

Does this make sense to anyone? :/

Possilbility:

830 base cars, available in a core game. 170 Premium cars available in a Premium version, or as DLC on the core version.

And maybe they're saying that 'Even the 170 Premium Cars will have Damage and Interiors, just like the 830 base cars'.

That might mean the 60/20 track count is the same premium/core split.

Just my speculation.

Nah. It sounds like not cars with interior damage, not cars in a premium version.

Hey guys they've taken down the article from the japenese GT site.. Someone said that the GT presentation was pulled from sony's conference, maybe we weren't suppose to see them articles? ... yet

edit: Im slow :)
