Dont understand that crb thing here. Done 3 races today and no crb. Never crossed the white line or hit the cones on that last corner.
You can’t hit any of the other cars. The other cars can hit you, which sometimes happens when you take the inside line and they turn in to you.

Tried the new AM vantage '18 in tokyo. While not amazing its good enough to do the job.
Its a bit neutered in the 600pp bracket.

The rally engine swapped BRZ is nice !
One stop on SM's.

I'm impressed with the new Vantage. Good acceleration, top speed and fuel economy between 7-8 laps. Balance is also pretty good, I didn't change my tires and still had ~40% in all of them by the end of the race. I like that even with hard tires the car doesn't feel sluggish in the corners like some other cars near the 600pp limit.
Laps between 2:10-2:11. Kokubun is becoming faster each update. In this race he got a fastest lap of 2:08.891

I think green fits the most for this one!

Could all of you please share your tunes or describe your detuning strategy with regards to tires, engine and extra weight or even other stuff like the BRZ custom gearbox glitch? I always struggle with doing this. Thanks.

BRZ custom gearbox glitch?
For some cars it is a combination of specific parts and/or very specific numbers on the sliders.
For some others it is simply adding one thing and the whole PP changes.
For the BRZ with the EJ2 engine, just add either fully customizable or racing transmission and the car is glitched.

Reasonably fast, like a Miata-light both in terms of speed and stability, like a training session for the "real-deal" the Corvette-in-Disguise is.
25.25.*** with a large margin of error.
Maybe 25.15 would be possible for me.

AM vantage '18:
  • All perma mods
  • Stock suspension
  • Manual transmission (final gear about 340)
  • Sports hard tyres
  • hp close to 450
  • ballast position -50
  • costumized lsd (10,30,20)
  • all else racing (brakes, brake pads, flywheel, shaft)

The tune is based on an old one from praiano's page for the V8 swapped BRZ.
I Did a couple more runs and managed to improve on the first one.
Fastest lap is only a couple of tenths faster. I Managed to shave some good seconds from the last couple of laps because I had a much better time getting thru the lapped traffic.

Quite useless money grinding race then ,if it is so easy to loose the crb.
A race at Road Atlanta is very similar. It has standard CRB rules. Unless they changed it, it's possible to earn 450k for a half hour race with the CRB. It's quite doable, you just can't press your car to the limit.
Sure it's not the highest grossing race, but when you've lived and breathed the others til you're bored, Road Atlanta gives you a nice change of scenery.
I bought more than one Legendary Car with credits won from this race.
I may have said this before, but I've been running through Tokyo WTC600 with the Bvlgari Aluminum since it was added to the game. I've won with it on Easy and Hard modes; it is a good challenge on both. With SH tires I have never needed to stop at all.
Before that I used the RA272. I've also won quite a bit with the Murceilago on SH tires and with the RX-7 Spirit with both the 13B and 26B engines. The RX-7 needs soft tires on the back and hard tires up front. It's been so long since I used these I've forgotten the settings. They may be obsolete by now anyway.
