New Xbox One Details from Gamescom 2013 Starting at 1AM Pacific

Gamescom 2013 will kick off Tuesday with Microsoft's Xbox One Gamescom Showcase Event. Starting at 1am Pacific/4am Eastern/8am GMT, keep checking back with IGN for updates from the show floor as Microsoft gives media "the opportunity to get hands-on with a range of Xbox One titles, speak with developers, and be the first to hear our Gamescom news."

Microsoft is also teasing a new Xbox One exclusive set to be announced at Gamescom. “We’re gonna have a really short stage presentation with some news, talking about some unique exclusive coming to the platform,” said Microsoft Studio's corporate vice-president Phil Spencer. “We’re going to talk about Europe’s biggest franchise and maybe some interesting things. We have some stuff, but most of the time will be spent with the press getting time with the developers, with their games. So you should think about this as a room with a lot of hands-on. We think that these platforms are about the games, and we want to give the press time with the games.”

Yer Sony won E3 because MS pushed to hard and ended up falling on there face. But you have to take win anyway you can. Sony handed ms the crown with the 360. And Xbox policy aren't gone. There disabled. If they where disbanded they would be gone but you can enable anything that is disabled. MS is nothing now. Nothing has improved they don't care about us and so I'm not getting an Xbox Done.you should not buy one

I agree. They are trying to do damage control now but I am not sure it is going to work. If Fifa comes free with XO even then people can purchase it on PS4 for cheaper. As XO is 100$ more expensive. I think XO is good for people who are interested in Kinect only. COD ghost and BF4 first DLC surely cannot a big thing. It is not free just 2weeks early I think .

If it's true, then FIFA 14 is a $100 add on, as the Xbox One should be around $399 mark to stay in the market.

Great news. I will preorder a Xbox now, because i want to play FM5, CoD with dedicated server and the other exclusive Xbox games are great too.

No but seriously that is a great line up, although only Forza interests me from the exclusives. FIFA and BF4 are day 1 buys on PS4 for me but there is something for everyone on that list in my opinion. Was hoping for a package without Kinect and a price drop personally as it might have been enough to tempt me to get both.

But yeah, the only thing they have going for them is Forza, everything else worthwhile is multi-platform anyway.

Wouldn't recommend getting an Xbone at launch to anyone besides the most hardcore Forza groupies. Or unless you really want to voice control channel surf.

Too bad they couldn't get Titanfall to come out soon enough.

So have we seen all the exclusives MS has to offer now? It's a rather mediocre line up of exclusives they have there. There's only one exclusive they have thats going to sell well. (Can you guess?) That being said, I quite like the concept of Ryse, but maybe that's just because I like history. :lol:
 
I love fighting games, and from what I saw XboxOne will have two great Fighting games, KI and Fighter Within.
To be honest Gamescom conviced me to buy a XboxOne. I can't wait to play FM5, Ryse, BF4, DR3 as well KI and Fighter Within.:D

That's actually a pretty decent lineup. So happy to see Zoo Tycoon or any type of "tycoon" game finally coming to the X1. Didn't get a tycoon game at all on the 360.
Spark is looking very good too. It looks to be the X1 version of Little Big Planet.

I still don't plan to get the X1 until sometime in 2014. Gives them time to work out bugs and create some more titles. I will have X1 by the time Halo 5 comes out.

Fighter within? Have you seen the gameplay footage? Talk about input lag. I know it's early but the footage was hardly inspiring. I have to question the wisdom of showing that footage. Microsoft is really pushing the Kinect and that footage didn't exactly flatter it. At least it could be considered quite unique in the beat em up genre but I'd take a traditional fighting game over a "flail your arms wildly in front of a camera" any day.

I guess it's just personal preference. I really like Driveclub and Killzone on PS4, but I like Ryse and Forza 5 on Xbox One. Both consoles are going to do really well, regardless of exclusive IP's.
 
The lineup seems ok. The only game I am really interested is Forza 5. But of I get an XboxOne it won't be until 2014.
