Voice control sucks, imagine a roomate appearing and yelling "watch TV" - one dead person more on this world...

There are two things you never put into a product name, especially a tech product...... 'i' and 'one'. It shows no creativity and comes across as serious cheesy.
I thought Wii was bad but this takes the cake for worst console name ever. Especially since this is not the first xbox. They must be trolling us, maybe at the end they will remove the 1 or something. That cant be the name. Any pics of this thing yet? Did the audience booo when they said xbox one?

*head explodes*

This is such a horrible presentation, they have guys in the audience rallying up applause and whooping like on sitcoms or late-night TV.

Gotta love how MS is showing off their, extremely desirable, TV function before games. God damn face palm to the extreme.

This is weird because it's like they're trying to make a PC, that's not as good as a PC, and they charge you monthly for the services you can get much easier, and for free, on PC...

"It has SKYPE!"

"WOOOOOOO!"

This seems like it's gonna go badly for them. They want both the gamers and the family at the same time, trying for both makes it less desirable to each. The system may end up in market purgatory.

Who cares about skype?

I just hope we can turn this voice control stuff off.

So this machine lets us watch TV and use Skype. Seriously bad-ass stuff here from Microsoft.

Notice how Sony started with specs / games and MS started with video's / skype... what are they trying to hide here?

Jeez this isn't a smart TV! :grumpy:

This voice control is never on earth live! I could bet it would be too risky to use the actual feature.

Oh specs now

"Beginning of truly intelligent TV."

Even though every company already has better, more functional, fully integrated televisions with better features on the market already...

They're already behind on that side of things, and it's looking like the same story for gaming.

So this is a TV? and a Game System...

dr_slump: Imagine if your sick and you cant talk? that's a issue lol.

I do like those specs though.

64 bit, Blu-ray drive, USB 3.0. Nice

I just want to know 2 things for sure.
1. Blu ray player?
2. Can I play used games.
3. What is the real name because you guys keep trolling me saying it is called Xbox One. That cant be true.

Ohhh nice Blu ray! Yes !! I should just wait and come back to the thread after everything is confirmed. I was quite confident it would have blu ray. Now to find out about used games.
