Why all the anger at the name? It really doesn't matter, unless you're going to buy one and sit staring at the box instead of playing it. I'll be buying one as soon as I can, it looks stunning, especially the new Kinect. I'm a bit worried about how much focus went on the television aspect of it though, I'm willing to bet that half of those features won't work at all in the UK.

I do like the fact it has Blu Ray and a built in DVR for games, though. For all of those moaning about not seeing enough games; it was a console launch not a game conference. Wait to see what E3 brings. 👍
 
The revolutionary new game features will conspire to make a game that still plays exactly like the original Modern Warfare, except now shotguns will have less range than the melee button (for balance).

I was going to say, everything looks pretty low poly for next gen! BF3 looks better on current gen.

As a piece of design, it ticks all the boxes for me. It's minimal, well proportioned, looks well built and is fairly future proof. You can't go wrong with gloss black! ;) It's certainly better than using the typeface from bloody Spiderman.

It was a tiny little trailer to show that Forza 5 is coming, I wouldn't read too much into it. Remember that mad Forza trailer that appeared before Forza 4 with the cars doing flips and stunts and all sorts? Yeah...
 
Finally games can be better, consoles have better hardware. This stuff will be old hat in 3 years.

TV, Kinect, more TV, FIFA rehash, scripted CGIs (atleast Forza 5 is a confirmed launch title), Halo & Spielberg, NFL partnership, another generic CoD. Underwhelming, to say the least.

From a practicality front yes its a minimalist clean functional design but personally I would want more drama from something like a console and that's reflected in most gaming oriented products. It looks too much like a budget DVR for my liking and how something looks is a big sway for me.

Fair enough, my personal opinion is that the last thing I want underneath my TV is 'drama'.
 
I hope they are aware that only 5% of people who buy fps care about single player campaign.
