Your going to spend a minimum of $1,000 for a 2nd rig????

Well I think its $780 or something but $1000 is OK if it comes with everything I need to mount pedals and a wheel. Shipping will probably be murder though.

thinking about doing a dedicated F1 type rig/cockpit for F1 and for flight sims. I'm thinking about another D-box platform I'm addicted to it.

Anyway, I think its a cool looking chassis and probably the most rigid you're gonna get. ;)

May I ask how much a d-box platform cost?

Damn hot rig if you ask me...:dopey:

I guess he sells a lot of those cockpits $$$$ ya think? kinda cheap marketing though, im sure the 2 women that visit this site annually wont care for the women in bikinis... But that being said she caught my attention to the site so i am a hypocrit if i say it doesnt work!

What cockpit?

I could say something about pitting and a different type of 'rooster' and where to pit, but i'll leave my comment up to your imagination. :sly:

On-topic: I'd rather build such a cockpit myself, tbh. Would cost 200-300$ for all the wood but that's still way cheaper.

How could you build that out of wood?

And no offense but I chuckle every time someone says "F that noise I could build that out of wood" :p

It wouldn't have the exact shape but well, it'd be possible more or less, I'd say.

Oh yeah for sure, there have been some great F1 rigs made out of wood. I had the other type of rig in my brain, the boxy type. Yeah, with plywood and that spray foam you could make a killer rig.

Well, I agree about the cheap marketing, everybody can get a decent pair of boobs for some money to shoot some pictures. There are cockpits that are $8000, wth???

Nah, this is for people that have a lot of money and they need everything expensive no matter whether its worth it or not, there are not many guys of this type here I guess.
