Eh up boys Hitlers here
Your cars **** mate, Belongs in a scrapyard
My reply, Yeah cheers, i like the wheels you brought from halfords on your fiesta and the neons must add atleast 20bhp! And those tuning stickers make it hella fast right? Good job you have that Huge wing to make your Fwd Car stick to the ground
He drove off after that without a word 👍

Nobody ever said anything about my Fiesta. Didn't have any personality.

People were more positive about the MX5. Can't remember any specific incidences other than general good comments from friends, and once being in traffic when a mother was walking her young son and daughter back from school when they started pointing excitedly at it. Only negative comment was a drunken student who shouted "nice car you t***", but since I consider most students idiots anyway I didn't take it personally.

Girls seem to really like my Fiat, which certainly isn't a bad thing but I'm not sure it's a good thing either.

If there is jalousy you did something right ;)

Nearly only got positive comments for my cars, except the one or the other that are to tight and only like stock or cleaned cars.
But I like my cars to drive, drive good, so if i need a front spoiler that gives more air to the intercoolers, I go for it, even if the one or other calls me ricer.
Like on my current car: the bumper is made out out PEC (high quality and quite expensive) and I needed more air for the intercoolers and intake (takes air behind the singleframe):

Had someone describe it as looking like a kettle once, which I didn't quite understand. And consensus seems to jump between people suggesting I'm a chav to people suggesting I'm an old woman. Bizarre mix.

To be honest most of the comments are more about the way it shakes people's teeth out over even the slightest bump. Should probably look into that.

Edit for OP: 1967 Mustang picture is <<<- thataway

Not to brag, but I've gotten plenty of thumbs ups, camera phones, and "nice car"s. My response to these as I drive down the street is a big engine rev. My favorite was at a car show. It was a dad and a boy who looked to be about 5.

"Which one's your favorite?"
"That one."
"I like it too. Come on, time to go home."
"No! I want to hear it."
"We can look at it on the computer when we get home. We'll stay up an extra 15 minutes."
"Okay, fine. Bye car."

Negative ones are fun too. I had some guy come up to me and simply say. "I don't like your car." like he expected me to do something about it. I had a Honda guy talk all kinds of trash at a track day at Laguna Seca about how muscle cars can't turn. I can't remember how many times I lapped him, but I know a bunch of them were ou of corners. Some Mopar and Chevy fanatics look at me like I'm the anti-Christ. Never understood why Mustangs are so polarizing...

Since the muffler's been put on I've been getting a couple of head-turns for the Accord but obviously because it's just a Honda, the conversations don't really go any further than me saying what it is. Friends of mine though reckon I got a steal of a deal considering how much kit's on it.

Interestingly The Cereal Box seemed to be more popular...though that was probably more because it was a Skyline than anything else. The local news even decided to run a bit with the ol' S'Line going past for a cruise I went on last year...though probably it was more because this immaculate Charger was running behind me:

I've had nothing but thumbs up so far, mostly because it's clean inside and out though.

Everyone has said it looks nice and/or sporty, rides really well, feels solid and nicely made and is quiet. Even got complemented on the seats and space in the back (3 door).

Not bad for a diesel KIA!

I'm certainly happy with it, more so than with our Golf MK5.

Edit: it's KIA Pro_Cee'd 2.0 CRDI Sport.

One laughed faintly saying my parents must have bought it for me, that pissed me off.

I Also have alot of Thumbs up and What not Your cars sick mate etc Those are ones i remember the most

oh and

A Porsche engine drops straight into one of those.....

No it doesent haha

I mostly just get turning heads. Some people have approached me for some car small talk, making it really hard for me to talk about the car in a language they understand. Had some guy once tell me he liked the car and then asked me "are those custom wheels?" I knew he really meant to say "aftermarket" but I couldn't help myself to tell him they were mass produced. I get mixed reactions from females. Some think it's cute, others think it's fun, while some think it's loud and annoying.

My personal favorite: "your stock grocery hauler is garbage dude. way to go with your sticky tires, amateur bolt ons and trash suspension setup."

From a douchebag I know who professionally hardparks an EK hatch that has a GSR swap and coilovers. Despite our cars being "in completely different stages of refinement and deveplopment (sic)", he declined to come to an autocross because: "you will never catch me sucking weiners or dodging cones in a parking lot. same difference"

Oh how I love trolling these guys.

My car has some pretty bad vibrations at idle... I do give my friends rides pretty often and they always comment about that. One of them said they got a boner from it... X_X But another attention getter to my passengers, is my early 2000s car phone! Everyone seems to love it, along with my beaded panda and dolphin my uncle put on it when it was his.
IMG_1061.jpg

A bit hard to see the beaded animals on my rear view mirror.

Being an Almera 3 door, and most my mates driving Clio-sized 3 doors, I get a few compliments for the space and comfort of the rear seats. Often off female friends who then can't work out why me and my mate are laughing our heads off.

I've also been told it looks like a shoe, and that's become it's nick name.

Some people have said the Chevelles are nice. I heard one lady in a beat Toyota say that the '71 was ugly. I guess thats your opinion lady. I wanted to say, "That may be the case, but I could sell the transmission in my car for probably twice what you could get for your car." That wouldn't be an exageration either. I get some dirty looks from Prius owners at times.

"professionally hardparks"

 professional

"in completely different stages of refinement and deveplopment (sic)"

 development

I'd love to meet this guy. Speaking of which, once in a while me and a couple other friends mosey on down to the local ricer hang out spot for fun. One time a bunch of them were there and were all exited about us being there. The type of exited that ricers get when they see something they want to race. I actually knew one of them so I went over to talk to him. He mentioned that one of the cars there (forgot what it was) had an h22 swap and that it was fast. I took one glance at the tires and said "not with those stock all-season tires." The owner of the car then replied in a mumble, "it's a street car so it has street tires." I loled.

None of them ever say anything about my car either. At least not while I'm around.

And because I didn't include it on my first post...

The comment I get the most is that people hear me coming before they see me! I have my aftermarket stereo to thank for that. :)

Also, that my wheels are shiny! (people are easier to impress than I thought...)

Here she is:

Saw some guy take a picture of mine today from the next lane over with a camera phone. Turns a lot of heads, typically bros, but had a girl walk by it with her boyfriend and walk past it and then turn around and stare at it. Heard her saying something about "...love that car..".

Doesn't happen often though. Typically chicks don't dig old, loud, 90s cars with flipups and stickers. Ask Keef.

In general though, very positive comments. Never actually had someone seriously tell me they didn't like it.

The family mechanic said it is crap and useless.
While this is not a picture of my car, it is same model.
Honda-Accord-Sedan-1987.jpg

My car had
Cruise Control.
4 wheel disc brakes
Moonroof.(leaked)
Spoiler from an integra(came like this)

Most people who've talked to me about it like the BMW more than the Acura, which doesn't surprise me. Generally, I get positive comments all around, but most people get pretty shocked when they see that the TL has a rear view camera. Even the guys at Jotech thought, "OMG this thing has a rear camera!" Seriously, being big GT-R tuners & all, I figured they would have encountered such a feature in the big Nissan.

I don't get comments
I get questions asking if it is for sale

And the teal car in the background is a '64 Lincoln Continental

Never really had anyone comment on mine, mostly because nobody seems to know what it is (these people usually think it's some sort of Toyota), and if I ever say Subaru, they'll only know of an Impreza WRX STI. I don't really care, I like it for being subtle. :)

Picture is on my profile.

I'd love to meet this guy.

I love going through that little conversation we had on Facebook.

The car is nice. Black with white Regas. I don't know what the coilovers are, probably one of the expensive "JDM" brands for parking lot appeal. The owner is the trouble spot.

It's been a while, but I used to get good comments on my exhaust note from random people. It's barely louder than stock, but I'm always getting looks. I was once leaving a buddy's house and he told me to go for it. Apparantly some guy stuck his head out of his house window and called down, "what the hell was that?"... I was told he said it sounded cool. Recently an SRT-4 driver sitting next to me in traffic was surprised I swapped in an H22 ("you serious?! nice!"). I have the Civic "DOHC VTEC" decals on the side, so he asked. The decals, combined with an "SiR" badge and aftermarket red/clear taillights that resemble the factory Civic Si's, get a lot of looks from other Accord owners, particularly middle-aged males, lol!

Volvo:

"These seats are comfortable."
"I had a Saab 9000 before my DUI."
"What made you get a Volvo?"

Focus:

"That actually looks pretty good."

Fascinating stuff.

350Z: (RIP)

"How did you afford that?"
"It fits you."

Approving gestures/facial expressions, thumbs up, generally combined with big smiles. :) Or people rotating their necks 180 degrees because they have no clue what it is. :D

I get a lot of comments in mine. Had one guy in Sydney pull up in traffic just staring saying how "effing awesome" it was. Also in Sydney had people staring at pretty much every intersection. At Bathurst I was in a lane and in the lane beside me I heard the two occupants discussing it, the driver obviously asked what it was the the passenger was telling him about the rally car from Gran Turismo 4 lol.

And just the normal "nice car" and thumbs up around the place, one girl at a car meet I went to just kept going on about how sexy it was :D

I drive a 99/00 Lantra GLS, white. (Sorry no pic)
When I got it we gave it to the mechanic to do a service. He loved it.

My 10 year old female cousin told me it was a girls car. She kept making fun of it all night just to annoy me. :grumpy:

Other than that I haven't had any comments on it.
