Fog in the morning over the Nurburgring in the morning while doing practice and being able to see the sun glint through after a few laps. *Drooling* at the flames coming from the IS-F race car at night on toscana as well is quite enjoyable.

Countless other moments as well. Losing by 5 points by finishing one place down in points than I needed with a Nissan GT-R stealth against the RC92P Nissan WSC at R246 for the sole fact that he pushed me wide on the last corner 3 laps previous because my car has no top speed (full mod 718hp). Almost had a heart attack as I missed drafting and clipping the Audi R8 '01 by .054 seconds. I placed 4th he placed 2nd to the Bentley. Then as I ate it that I had to do the whole championship one more time with a underpowered car he spun after the checkered up ahead at turn one, and I thought (driving through the smoke), only if i had a lap.........

Driving the Nissan GT-R Calsonic Impul, i looked at the toilet roll in the car, and it made me go wow... Sadly, not so long afterwards i thought into it and it actually made me go yuck..

-FFB when in a snow rally. When you add too much lock and start to plow specifically.

-The feeling you get when you adjust camber & swap tires...very cool how it changes a bit.

-Track editor; Herman Tilke might be out of a job if PD keep evolving this feature. It's too damn cool.

At Tsukuba, seeing the blotches of rust on the old Back Stretch fencing. The level of detailing is amazing.

I bought a McLaren F1 yesterday and raced it using cockpit view - that was so cool! All cars should have the driver in the center of the cockpit. It just looks awesome.

That reminded me the Toyota Motor Triathlon. Also I find awesom the onboard camera they use in Le Mans right next to the pilot's head. Even greater sense of speed!

The little bits of grass you see kicked up when another car runs off course slightly.

The license test with the VW Golf on Autumn Ring (B6?) I swear I could FEEL the grip level in the tires change due to the weight transfer with my wheel setup (DFPro).

The license test with S2000 on High Speed Ring, I went into the first turn too hot and the rear end slipped out a bit... however I caught the slide, put in a bit of opposite lock and powered out in a near perfect drift. For some reason I never could do that in Prologue.

The Lambo race in Professional - turn one, second lap, with the tires up to temp and good feel for the car I was able to pull a near perfect 4 wheel drift leaving a perfect set of black skid marks and wall of smoke for the other cars to drive thru.

Driving on the Top Gear track after years of seeing it on TV.

The 5 different versions of "red" you can buy a Ferrari in. Rosa Monza is just stunning! Then being able to change the background at the car dealer to see your car under the different lighting conditions.

The nordshielfe @ night, esp when playing online OMG looks soo sick, esp the games spark effects when people tap the wall at night.. Freaking amazing

The first time I went around full Nurburgring ring which was online at night. It was so spooky driving in pitch black surroundings and seeing the opponents lights in front and behind was a blast. Also the Mercedes driving challenge doing the first full lap was a real joy.

Photo mode has blown me away with the amazing level of detail - some shots are hard to tell the game from a true photo. I like to buy convertibles so you can zoom right into the interior of the car. The first time I zoomed up to my Mazda Roadster's stereo and I could read the small writing on the buttons was crazy impressive!

Also have to mention the new smoke effect. I love to drift so seeing the amount of smoke and to finally have tyre marks is really excellent! The pixelation where car meets smoke did put me off at first but once I got over that, even when in a serious race I can't help losing traction then looking behind me to see the nice big cloud of smoke floating away!

I will be keeping my eyes peeled to look for this when i decide to race there again. That wont be long as its one of my fav tracks. Im actually suprised i havnt see this already.

Now if i crash whilst looking i will be coming after you. :scared:

When i fully modded my beautiful Ruf Yellowbird, oil changed it & slapped some Soft Racing Rubbers & went wild at the Suzuka raceway finding a comfortable setup for this bonkers mad excuse of a car :D

Great thread, nice to get away from all the whining and moaning.

Mine was driving my F430 down SSR7. A deserted highway, at night, 188 MPH cockpit view. Wow, I almost cried.

So far mine has been the sound my TVR Tamora makes after I put a full titanium exhaust system on it.

It sounds like a banshee now!:-)

In my first online race, me and my cousin took two NASCAR cars there - immediately it was the most fun I'd ever had in a Gran Turismo game. The sound is incredible and to draft eachother at 230mph over the Tokyo bay bridge... it was heaven

The sound improvement! First time driving the Zonda R and LFA and watching the replay over and over just to hear the glorious sound. The Zonda R sounds like a fighter jet when it flies past at full throttle, its amazing!

So many, especially as this is the first GT I've started playing with a wheel.

One which stands out was 4 wheel drifting my M3 GTR at Deep Forest round the first left hander before the uphill section. The track pretty much forces the car to drift and it just seems perfectly balanced and totally right. Was an easy win but must have played the same race about 10 times in a row just for that corner. Bliss.

Great thread. Nice to have a thread that isnt about complaining. Just hope to see some of the regular complainers in this thread. To you know, actually talk about something that they like in this game. Since they are after all, racing fans.

The first time i went through Gambon (it's a pity it was in the vw hippie thing :))

Taking pictures of my Lancia Delta HF Integrale going round the Ring (what a beauty!). Also I enjoyed that license tests with the Z4 and the Ferrari 512, they were very tail happy!

The second best moment when i first entered the Ferrari dealership. The best moment so far when I came back with money enough to buy a new, shiny, sexy & really fast 458 Italia.

EDIT: as I was typing just reached level 25 in B-spec yay!

THAT! THAT! THAT! I always put 0 as traction control in my cars so everytime I am exiting a curve look back and see a line of smoke and the tyre marks behind, simply love it!

First time for me with a wheel as well :)

That in itself makes it a cool moment 👍

Brings so much more realism to the game, and also i think its making me a better driver.

I'm impressed with the small stuff.. i love how the low angle shots in the replays show the grass being flattened by the cars wake as they zoom past. That's amazing attention to detail :)

The engine start-up sound when you get in a car. Simply beautiful.

In cockpit view looking behind and seeing the rear of the car, not just a clear view.

The new smoke and dust effects. Following a car in front, he hits the apex an touches the grass a little, kicking up dust. Wow.

SSR7. Went on this for the first time tonight and was just in awe. The fireworks going off, plowing into the tunnel and 190mph. God this course is a dream.
