For me it was watching a replay of my Elise drifting round the Hammerhead on the Top Gear Test Track. The elevated view is superb!

The engine start-up sound when you get in a car. Simply beautiful.

The new smoke and dust effects. Following a car in front, he hits the apex an touches the grass a little, kicking up dust. Wow.

Definitely feeling you on these two, all the way.

Not expecting this, but NASCAR are fun to drive around road courses....tricky because of the weight and I think they got this spot on. You can go fast in those things but they starting to overwork the tire really quickly.....

Still sucks on oval because of the AI, but the cars are definitely a revelation for me in the game...

the last intermediate AMG chellenge on th foggy ring.
That kind of weather is what I assosiate the Eiffel district with (about 2hours drive from here)

Took the NSX around Cape Ring North in the Japanese 90s race. oh ho ho ho hooo. Soooo much fun.

There is a slight left on the crest of a hill, the car went light and the back end snapped out, caught it in a slide, but a quick right hander was rapidly approaching. Hit the brakes, the back end swapped sides and I slide around that corner too. I was barley in control the whole time. Looked at the laps 2/5, a huge smile as I'll get to do this part 3 more times :D

Loads of things I love In the game, Silly little touches do It for me like headlight reflection off the cones racing the ring at night, Brake lights lighting up the road where you've been.
Perhaps even a little illumination from the exhaust flash. The whole driving experience makes me buzz and has now eased my pain for the time we waited for this game.

Using my '96 Elise 150bhp RM in a race around deep forest. Beating some big boys (Zonda C12S, Enzo etc.). Very satisfying.

Climbing into the Bugatti Veyron for the first time and doing a lap of 'Circuit de la Sarthe'! Best track in the game defo. The sensation of speed flying down the long straight watching the speedo just go on and on and on..... When I stamped on the brake from 250MPH I could feel the front of the car digging in the road and airbrake at the back slowing me right down.

Absolutely awesome!

I was racing my fully tuned McLaren F1 around Nordschleife in an online lobby (free ride) passing people who were just playing around, crashing and doing donuts. Suddenly a veyron looking dead serious shows up in my rear view mirror and becomes bigger and bigger. He honks three times and the race is on. Of course I had much higher power/weight ratio than him, but he had 4WD and soft racing tires, me on hard tires. He can put those 1200bhp to the ground flatout out of every corner while I have to seriously concentrate on throttle management. I managed to stay in front of him for 2 full laps until he finally touched the outside grass on a fast corner and spun out.

I drive in a racing seat with G25 and I play with manual gearbox (H-shifter) and try my best to work some heel-toe action. All aids off beside ABS at 2. 880bhp, 970kg. When those 15 minutes were over I felt like I had just been pumping iron for an hour straight and had went straight to the sauna. My left hand was aching from holding and correcting the wheel while my right hand was busy shifting. I had to go straight to the shower and find a new shirt. Wow!

Seeing the track workers standing on the other side of the armco barriers on Circuit de la Sarthe. They didn't have to put those guys there, but seeing them there makes me feel like I'm at an actual racing event, in an actual racing location.

seeing my 69 camaro being transformed into the RM beast, hearing the exhaust note, being able to hear the supercharger whine, seeing the raindrops gather on the screen.....just beautiful

Doing the Indy 20 lap B spec and seeing right wheel wear out faster than left wheel.

Perhaps I've set my sights too low. But, seeing that made me say "cool"

My friend came round one night for a few drinks before heading out, I was watching him race my Gallardo round the Nurb GP track, he took the corner a little wide and ended up on a high rumble strip, as he came off the rumble strip the rear diffuser must have caught it a bit and it kicked up a few sparks.

Maybe it was the fact that I was half drunk when watching him, but I though that was a pretty cool little touch! I always race in cockpit/first person view so I'd never seen it before or taken much notice if it had happened, he always plays in chase cam so this was the first time I'd consciously witnessed the sparks from the rumble strip and diffuser contact.

Racing online @ Nordschleife with time change with friends. Cruising actually with a few competitions alongside... the time change. OMG. The lightning on the ring its just perfect.

Maybe someone else has said/noticed, but I like when my tires run off the road, they pick up dust/dirt, then it rubs off once I get back on the track (easily seen on open wheel cars, like the Caterham)

What?! You run off the road?

Same with the FGT...

...time for me to get back to Nurburgring 24H.

I can feel the road section in SSR5 with the Buttkicker. It's feel like I'm really hitting the bumps first the front tires and then the back. I mean I really feel them as the Buttkicker rumbles hard over the sections.

The AMG driving events in general. Probably the thing I anticipated most each time I hit a level high enough to unlock the next difficulty for that. So fun to have the 'ring broken down into sections to perferct and then stiring it together into a full lap with traffic. I spent an hour on the last challenge in beginner to get gold. Jumped in the air when I finally nailed it.

My first time racing on a time change track (Sarthe). I was in the Nomad Diablo race car, and I noticed in my rear view as I was flying down the straight at 200+ that things were flashing red - they were all the little signs and objects as they flew away behind me being lit up by my tail lights.

It's the little details that impress me, like when I pause in a replay after cutting too close into a corner and see little bits of grass paused in midair when I walk around the car. :)

Doing an online night race at La Sarthe in Crystalline weather! There was a bunch of high grade racers from other forums in RM'd Vettes and stuff.

I had Brian Vickers Camry. AND I WON!!! The best moment though, was going to the small carner after the second Chicane on Mulsanne. My car Actually vanished: the entire screen was BLACK!!! Has anyone ever seen a game with the... Confidence to actually do that? Leave you utterly devoid of any visuals? Even at night? It was sooooo amazing!!!

Another things thats cool is ive finally grew to like the Nurb. I used to hate that track with a passion, but now i think its pretty cool 👍
